The printer works great. It's easy to set up, but software and connectivity are GARBAGE. The main app it asks you to use is Epson Smart Panel, which isn't very smart. Trying to use it forces all my prints to be smaller than I need them to be, and theres no way to change the borders on paper to prevent this resizing, so I'm forced to use another app. Every other app I use to connect to the printer only works if I disable the printer from my phones settings, then add it back EVERY TIME I PRINT. And even then, it only occasionally actually connects, so I'm stuck here disabling, adding new printer, does it work? No? Okay, close app, disable, add new. Does it work? Yes, but every so often itll just cancel on its own and waste even more paper. Totally unacceptable at this price range. All in all, it's the perfect printer if you're fine with wasting 1/4 of the ink and about $40 worth of paper just to figure out how to get it to do what it's made to do.

The printer worked ok - for about a year, then quit, exchanged it for a 2nd printer, that one "died" right out of the box. So took exchange credit against a different model printer. "Except" (without my permission or knowledge) Best Buy refunded the credit to an old expired gift card we no longer have access to (nor does the employer that awarded it to us). Best Buy says its "our fault" they sent our credit to an old gift card with $0 balance for over a year, claim they have no way to retrieve the $435. Guess we'll have to find out what the Colo. Attorney General thinks of this whole mess...

I love my Epson ET-4850. It works great for my printing whenever I want to print.

this machine is excellent. the online set up was 99% managed by the manufacturer. i only had to push a button or two. the ink system is really efficient too. i’m impressed

gift for my god daughter she loves it. works from home and needed something that was reliable, and she wouldn't have to be changing out cartridge's all the time.

Nice printer’ like the non cartridge ink feature. Set up went better than expected but note you must have either a computer with cd drive, smartphone or tablet to set it up. Computer without cd drive is NOT provided for.

I love this printer. I’ve printed a couple hundred or more flyers and haven’t made a dent in the ink.

So far so good! It’s quiet, compact and easy to setup! The ink prices are pretty good also. Quality is excellent so far. Only negative was the upfront price but I feel like it’s worth it and a good investment!

The Epson Eco-Tank 4850 is a good printer. The price for this printer is expensive. In the long run you'll save on ink. I was fed up purchasing expensive HP ink cartridges. Yes I would buy another Epson printer.

This is one of the best printer I therefore recommend Epson-EcoTank for your home and office use

Its a very affordable way to print but I wish it was alot easier to set up and use with mobile devices. Considering switching to something easier to use

Purchased 09/2023. Had to replace under MF warranty the first year. Epson replaced it with a recondition one under warranty. This printer is not dependable. Keeps dropping off the network and the router is the same room. Prints slow, really slow, many other complications with printing. Scanning to computer works sometimes. Epson took a step backwards with this one. We had a Epson All in one for almost five years until it was accidently broken. I think Epson business model for this printer was Planned Obsolescence.

Better than other inkjets due to the ink cost. Still an inkjet which for some reason means it takes 3-5 business days to get ready to print and another 3-5 business days to actually print. It also randomly restarts for no reason

Unlike competitors which we used for years, have done huge amount of printing without having to constantly purchase new, very expensive cartridges.

Love this printer. Printing is sharp, easy to operate, has fax as well. Refilling the ink is super easy and not messy.
