Great so far! Purchased in last 2 months. Solid printer with good print production and solid images in B&W and color. Seems much more ink use friendly than other brands I’ved owned.

One of the Best printers out there ,easy to fill and you can see the ink levels , and prints hundreds of pages and still lots of ink,not cheap but the nice screen, 250 pages it will take and alot cheaper ink far out way the expense of a cheap printer with expensive ink and it prints great prints, I bought HP printers for years ,not any more, with this great printer, alot of extra settings and quiet too.

So far I really like the EPSON EcoTank 4850 Printer. It does a great job, is fairly quick to print and decent quality. I wish that it was easier to install the software on my computer so I can scan documents without using the App on my phone. The app available on the app store wasn't specifically for this printer so I think EPSON can do better by making it more user friendly. Fortunately, I'm tech savvy and can figure it out, but my wife who is not as tech savvy was not a fan.

Prints GREAT photos. I scanned a 50-year-old faded picture and tweaked it with tools and photoshop. It came out looking like new. The print speed is perfectly fine. This thing works better than expected. it has surpassed my expectations, and the reviews don't do it justice. I think it is real bargain at its price point. I

High quality and easy to set up. It’s not quite laser quality but it’s close enough considering the ink cost savings.

This is a great printer. It's suits my purposes and more. The ink tanks are great and easy to fill. Not having to worry about buying so many small expensive ink cartridges is great. Printer should pay for itself in the long run. Easy set up and the print jobs are fast, clear, and good color. One small gripe is the touch screen needs to be at least an inch larger at this price point. But still a great printer, just a little tedious working with the small touch screen

I LOVE the EcoTanks. My first one survived about 5 years before a software glitch brought it down. But it paid for itself within the first couple years since I wasn't having to buy ink every 6 months. I only bought ink once after the initial purchase, and it was right near the end of the printer's life. Installation was easy. Wireless connectivity was mostly easy - it was a little bit of a juggle to get the right settings between PC, Chromebooks, and phone. I also really appreciate that it still came with a CD for installation - my PC is old, and I feel more comfortable with hard copy installation software (because I also am old).

I am impressed with this printer quality, I mean, it is not a photo printer however the photos I have printed so far are looking good to be in a portrait. The printer is fast enough and the ink is barely going down after some photo prints. Still I need to see the durability, it seems to be sturdy enough and the double printing feature plus the auto feeder are working really well.

This has been the best printer I have ever bought for personal use. My older EcoTank's wifi connect started having problems after 8 years so it was time to replace. The ink lasts a lot longer than any other printer I have used in the same price range.

    New Epson ET-4850 Review

The printer arrived in a timely fashion and free of damage. The set up for the ET-4850 was straightforward. It is great having a visual reference as to how much ink remains. It also helps prevent starting a color intensive print only to run out of ink like has happened to me with my current HP cartridge printer. The size for the all In one Epson is also smaller than the HP that I have making it easier to place on the computer table. I am very pleased with the Epson to this point.

Bought this one to replace an older ET4550 printer that had close to 50,000 prints produced, but the print head was wearing out and I decided to upgrade with a newer model. This one is of equal quality. I love it, and the savings in ink cartridges alone pays for the purchase price 100%. I would never consider any other type of printer. I wish it handled envelopes a little easier, but other than that, this is the perfect printer.

I read mixed reviews on this printer so I waited a while before writing this... I use this printer ALL the time and it's been great! The first one I received didn't connect to the internet despite several hours online and on the phone with Epson Customer Service. However, Best Buy exchanged the printer & this one has been GREAT. I would highly recommend this one, it prints great, scans easily and has saved me a ton on ink already.

Love this printer! I finally ditched TWO HP printers I have because I got TIRED of paying for HP ink. And in light of their recent moves on bricking printers due to ink, the time is right to move to eco-tank! Easy set up, and it comes with a lot of ink and when you do RUN low, you can buy a huge bottle of the color you need. Thank you, EPSON.

A tad hard to set up, and ended up using a USB connection to print, since going wireless prints a little too slow for me. Other wireless items in home have no problems. Plus is that I've been printing a boat load of items and the ink is still almost full and the unit has a touch screen panel. Also have the ET-3850, without a touch screen, and would replace that one if not for the cost. Minus is I'm more disappointed with the limited paper sizes that the unit prints on.

After my HP Officejet printer stopped working, due to an update that locked the printer for having 3rd party ink, I decided I was done with HP! The reviews for the Epson printer that I’ve read praise this unit for having a ton of ink included, that it “sips” ink for daily printing. I also looked into replacement ink, and Epson sells ink bottles to refill the ink reservoir, not cartridges! You pay for the unit price up front, and save on replacement ink. So far so good!
