Best printer ever. I print everything on here. Picture, vinyl

After extensive research to find the right printer, the Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8500 was what we settled on. My wife uses the ET-8500 for crafts, photos, and ancestry, and she use this printer daily. She can scan documents over wi-fi right to my computer, and the FAX feature has come in handy when dealing with important documents. We have now been using it for 2-3 weeks, and it is doing such an excellent job. The prints are beautiful, B&W or color, prints beautiful photos, cards, and artwork. For everyday printing of forms and documents it is no fuss. The ink tanks are proving to be the way to go. Yes, printers with ink tanks are more expensive up front, but we will save so much now that we are not getting cartridges. The Epson Alexa can be setup to print out our grocery list once a week and print our grocery list through the Epson Alexa app every week, and it works every time.

I love this printer. I purchased it for printing photos especially and for printing on canvas and other materials. It works great plus I also enjoy filling ink wells instead of replacing cartridges all the time.

It's a decent quality printer, the reason I gave it 3 stars is that it is SLOW! I printed a 2-1/2 page text document (no graphics or pictures, just plain black text) and it took 1 minute 55 seconds from "print" to "done printing". If you're considering this printer be prepared for a long printing wait time. I've printed a number of plain black text docs 10-20 pages and the wait time is considerable. If you will be printing large documents, you might want to consider another printer.

This is a fantastic idea for a printer although the print heads get dirty and clogged very easily. Making for some regular cleaning and loss of ink.
