Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the EpiqVision Ultra LS300's impressive picture quality, ease of use, and convenient short throw capabilities. Many appreciate its brightness, even in daylight conditions, and the straightforward setup process. However, some users have noted concerns regarding fan noise and the durability of the HDMI ports. The projector's size may also be a factor for some consumers.

Epson doesn't disappoint.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great quality image, easy to set. Wish it had manual image size adjustment like my other Epson projector has, and better focus capability. Takes a bit of work to get it positioned, but once it is, it works great. Love the 8-point adjustment. It's big and heavy, which isn't great.

Durable and still standing
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been having this short throw projector from Epson for roughly a little over 4 years now. This projector hasn't failed me because I use this for events I DJ where the client needs me to bring in a projector and screen. I love using a short through because anyone can walk Infront of the screen and you won't see their shadow.

Blown away
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does everything I hoped it would. Amazing picture and easy to use. But the most surprising is the speaker, it good enough for a 200 person sanctuary and sounded better than the sound system in the building. Well wort every penny.

From opening it to loving it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Short throw allows for installatiom flexibility Onboard Android TV Bluetooth capable and allows for screen casting Great onboard sound Great picture quality for way less $$ than 4k 20,000 hour bulb life Cons: Slow continuity for action scenes at larger screen sizes (100"+) Focus toggle is on the unit but the other adjustments are on the remote Does not come with a screen When my projector arrived, I really thought the box was so large because of the packaging material. But nope, the unit was actually much bigger than I expected. After getting the unit out of the box, the quick set up instructions were easy to follow. I had the projector up and running in under 10 minutes. Adjusting the screen ratio was also pretty easy. My only complaint about the picture adjustment is that the focus is on board rather than remote controlled so you either need two people to set it up or do like I did and focus . . . . it, then back up and check your work. I placed the projector in a large sized room with lots of natural light (2 - 60" windows and a French door) and at the factory setting, the picture was more bright than even the brightest setting of my Phillips 75" TV. At the brightest setting, the picture is prestine even at 1080p. The downside to the brightest setting is the fan noise but this was not a factor for me since I left the setting at the factory mid-point and was very satisfied with it. This model did not come with a screen (a downside for this price point) so I paired it with an Elite Screen 120" fixed frame unit. The picture at the full 120" at 16:9 ratio was crisp, clear, and really gave me the movie going experience. The only downside was the fluidity of high speed frames. The focus had a hard time keeping up at this size but this issue was not as noticeable at 85". Final thoughts: For the price point at 1080p, this unit should really come with a screen; even if it's a non-fixed, folding, wrinkle free material. The 1080p resolution is perfectly fine at this size. When I compared this unit to a 4k version of the same product, spending twice as much money to get 4k was really unnecessary and did not make a huge viewing difference. The "ultra" short throw description was a little deceiving because the unit still needs to be on a console that is at least 18" deep just to support the unit. This gave me a viewing screen of about 75". To get to 100" or 120", I needed a 22-23" console or I had to pull the console considerably away from the wall. I also angled the unit up a little which allowed me to put it closer to the wall and still get a good viewing area. This required some stabilizing but meant I did not have to special order or make shift a console. I would happily recommend this product over less expensive competitive brands. This unit produces way less heat and noise and offers a crisp picture. 20,000 hours of bulb life beats having to replace a big screen TV every few years. All in all, a great value for the superb picture and sound. Very sleek since you dont have to have any additional equipment (no firestick, sound bars, etc.). Everything is onbaord!! This is a review for the Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS300 Smart Streaming Laser projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Epson - EpiqVision Ultra LS300
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson - EpiqVision Ultra LS300 Smart Streaming Laser Short Throw Projector - White The picture is incredible out of the box. Turn it to Dynamic mode and WHOA! It is unreal. If I didn’t know any better, I would swear this was a 4K picture. It connected to our 5G high speed internet in no time and we were up and watching videos on When the sun goes down or if you can fully block out daylight in your room, that’s where this thing will really shine. Even with ambient light, it still looks spectacular! The Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS300 is a 1080p LCD laser projector. It's an Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, so it's capable of projecting content at an extremely short distance from the screen or wall, screen is very clear and as if i am watching 4k TV in daylight It has two HDMI ports - one of which doubles as the ARC port - with 1080p @ 60Hz support - Yamaha sound system with two full-range 5W speakers and a 10W subwoofer. it has awesome sound With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support and comes with the Android TV smart interface with full Chromecast integration - it connect Bose Soundbar 900 in a second.

Great picture, but projector crashes
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this SL300 projector for a week, picture is great but the two main issues I've had with this projector are that it crashes a lot while using the Philo app. I plugged our Fire TV stick in and there's no crashing issue using Philo using the Fire TV stick. The 2nd issue is, I can't get the Fire TV remote to sync up with the projector. I'll update my review if anything else comes up.

Ok projecter
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The projector itself is ok. It freezes often and it kicks you out of your apps. I need to hatd restart it atleast once a week in order for it to work proprly. The picture and audio quality is good but could be better for a $2100 purchase. The projector gets really hot it seems like it’s going to overheat and blow a circuit. But over all I guess it’s ok.

Miracle box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a new solution for my movie room, I had a regular projector that needed replacing and the logistics of the video and audio were getting to be a challenge. Not to mention the numerous devices and inputs that needed to be navigated, making it almost impossible for any non-technical family member to use so it ended up unused. I was seriously considering getting a regular large 85" LCD tv but even that size would end up a lot smaller than the 110" screen I have set up. And the screen would have gone to waste. On a whim I decided to see what the current market was like for short-throw devices which had been 4000+ up until recently. I found this and by all the reviews it seemed like I had found my answer. I went to the nearest BB store that happened to have one in stock. It wasn't on display and almost never is anywhere so I would have to go on faith it would work and am so glad I did. The picture is really really good, I'm no expert but I thought it was great. And I haven't even fine-tuned focus yet. The screen might not be optimized for a short throw unit, it does throw some light on the ceiling but I almost consider it ambiance. I haven't yet figured out what to do about integrating with my sound system but the built in is so good I'm in no rush. Single box solution for Disney+, Hulu, YouTubeTV, the Google Play Movies/ movies anywhere gets me 80% of the way there. As everyone mentions, lack of Netflix and Prime Video is a glaring fault, but yes can be circumvented with a second solution. Yes, wish remote was backlit. Sure wish was 4K but its not like I think the picture was bad.

Epson ls300
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this product and loved it when I first got it but coukd never get the adjustments to where it would fit my screen size. Also after having it just over warranty period the HDMI PORT burnt out and the arc never worked properly from day one. I had to replace the projector after only having it a short time. A lot of money to spend to have to replace it so soon.

Very impressed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome and excellent projector! Wow! The only thing I would saybis read the specs. This is a short throw projector that cannot be ceiling mounted and it is very big. It needs to be at least 15 inches away from what it is projecting on (at least).

Bring the Movie Theater to the Living Room
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector literally makes you feel like you are watching you favorite films at a movie theater. I started rewatching Game of Thrones because of how spectacular it looks when at this large of scale. The speakers are very decent although if you want a theater quality sound you will want to invest in a home theater surround system instead. However, inspire of the speaker quality, the picture quality made this the best piece of home entertainment equipment I have bought in ages.
