Q: Obviously, this would be better on a screen. But how will it look on a light grey wall?
A: I project my Epson 6040 onto a light gray wall and I'm VERY happy I didn't spend a penny on a projection screen. Just make sure the wall is fairly smooth and flat (No bumps/holes in drywall) and don't use a shiny wall paint. You will be very happy with the picture and the money you saved!
A: I have the same project in black, and one HDMI is now not working, it's greyed out on the inputs menu, but HDMI 2 with ARC is working? We had the projector for a little >2 years now, this is the 1st time this has happened, it was already updated to the latest firmware, android updated as well before this occurred. We even reset the whole settings and factory restored, HDMI 1 is still gray, cannot use, when chosen HDMI 1 immediately states it's an unprojectable source. Cannot figure out is this a firmware/software/hardware issue? Can Epson enlighten me on this issue?
Q: Is the bulbs replaceable..?
A: This particular projector has a 20,000 hour lamp/laser. My guess is that you'll never have to replace it while this technology is still relevant. The owner's manual states "This projector uses a sealed laser light source which does not need servicing and cannot be replaced."
Q: Can I plug a Roku into this? Will it work?
A: Hi Becky, It will work. The EpiqVision Ultra LS300 has an HDMI port you can connect your Roku to. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A: No. Per the user guide: "Warning: The projector is not intended to be ceiling- or wall-mounted. Do not mount the projector on a ceiling or a wall. It could fall and cause damage or injury." There is also no option to invert the image (if the unit were upside down).
Q: Can we download Amazon Prime and Netflix on this device?
A: Hello Mamat. The Epson EpiqVision LS300 currently does not support downloading Netflix directly. However, Amazon Prime is available for download. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A: Hi Pankaj, The LS300 has three LCD panels - one for each projected color. It does not support 3D movies. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A: Back of projector, as it wouldn't be possible to be 1 inch away from the wall with the lens.
