Nice printer for price

Description is misleading

It says all in one I cannot fax at all and that’s the only reason I purchased the printer, I tried to do a return and I was told it’s too late to return.

Prints double sided!

Cheap but reliable

One of my biggest and only complaints is how fast it goes through color ink even though 98% of the time I print black/white and have my computer set up to do black only.

I will try the recommended Epson bright white printer paper hopefully the color quality will improve. The first few times I used the paper jammed bad in the printer.

Ink goes way too fast

Worst Printer I have Ever Owned

I decided to give Epson a try because they made the most compact version in an all-in-one XP-4100. Not only did it choke on setting up & connecting to Wi-fi on both my Windows and Mac, it has other problems: Keeps telling me there is a firmware update but fails on the install every time. It also has the worse panel GUI interface of any I have tried. Now the icing on the cake, - it will not allow me to print in black or gray scale only while I wait for Epson to take their sweet time getting me the replacement color cartridges I purchased on their site 2 weeks ago. Save the hassle, - Buy a printer by almost any other Mfg. Or, - you could take your money and use it to light a bon-fire big enough to melt your Epson printer into a puddle of goo. At least you would be getting something satisfying for your money. - No joke.

It worked for 3 weeks then stopped.

It worked perfectly the reason I bought it was because it prints on both sides of the paper. After about 3 weeks it stopped printing on the back side. I don’t know if it is because I got bad one or what but I’m disappointed. It keeps getting a paper jam for some unknown reason when it starts to print in the backside of the paper. I called Best Buy and asked what can I do and they said I would have to pay $99 dollars for them to fix it. I only paid $50 for the printer. What sense does that make to pay double to fix it. It doesn’t so know I have to call the manufacturer and see if they can do anything.

Epson All in One

Mediocre quality and deceptive ink status

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BEWARE - even though the printer says you can print in black & white if a color cartridge runs out, you CANNOT, as confirmed by Epson support on Twitter. So even if you only want to print in B&W, you have to have full color cartridges. Color printing quality was mediocre at best, and only got about 20-25 pages printed from one color cartridge. Ink goes quick! Also, intermittently won’t print from laptop for unknown reason, so have to download Epson app and then documents print fine from my phone.

It needs to be much simpler process. I would not recommend it for a novicr.
