My previous unit lasted many years and the ink cartridges seemed to last. Not this guy. It’s slow, constantly needs ink and continually feels like I’m rolling the dice with it actually printing what I want. I am already looking to replace it after 7 months of minimal usage.

The setup of the printer using the keypad and tiny screen was a little difficult but I figured it out. For the price paid I'm generally happy with it.

I ran troubleshooting, adjusted the printer head, bought new ink, ran vertical and horizontal troubleshooting, and I still get faded prints with gaps or streaks. The main issue is the presence of horizontal streaks, gaps, and smears across all prints. I ran the troubleshooting feature several times, and the printer doesn't even properly print its own horizontal troubleshooting guide (i.e. it prints a series of rectangles telling you to choose the ones that touch without overlap or gaps, but NONE of the rectangles on the print actually touch, meaning the printer is so misaligned it doesn't register the problem and cannot fix it). I checked cartridge installs and they are indeed installed properly. Once these cartridges are spent I'm recycling this waste of space.
