Paper Stuck, Terrible Sound

The printer stops printing when one color goes out. A page was already stuck in the machine when it was out of black ink because I was printing on both sides of the paper. It was terrible trying to get it out! On top of that the printer made a terrible sound when I replaced the first cartridge! I will wait and see with the next cartridge.

Clean scanned images

Horrible on ink

The set up was easy and everything went fine. On July 22(not even a full 4 weeks later) I turned the printer on and seen that the black ink was out completely and all of the color ink was half way gone. I used the printer a handful of times and the documents I printed did not require a lot of ink at all. I called Best Buy customer service and I even took it to my local Best Buy store and both of them refused to let me exchange and get a better printer because it was over their 14 day return policy and they are very "strict" per the employee at the store. I wasn't even expecting a refund, all I wanted to do was simply exchange the printer for another that didn't run out of ink after printing a few pages. I fail to understand how I was supposed to know that the printer ran out of ink fast within 14 days if I was not using it everyday. Printer ink can be very costly and I refuse to spend money on something that does not last as long as it should. If you don't plan on using the printer often, or mind spending a ton of money on ink then go for it. Otherwise I would not recommend this at all.

Not worth it.

No matter what I do I cannot get the program to download. I have gone to Epson’s help center with absolutely no luck. I have had to download an app to scan my homework in order to send it in. Pretty much a waste of money. Wish I would have waited for an HP to come in stock. The paper doesn’t sit right and rips when it prints.

Massive Ink Usage

It also uses a small amount color ink even after selecting the black & white option in preferences. Then after running out of the color ink that I told it to never use, it stops printing even when the black ink cartridge is full. I will never again by an Epson printer.
