I was not aware of this until it was too late, Epson installed a new firmware update where it does not allow you to use third-party ink cartridges so you only have to buy their expensive ink. kind of a big disappointment since their ink cartridges run out super quick like you can only get around 20-40 pages depending on how much content is in the pages. defnintly dont recomment to profissional prints

Posted .Hello Saad, from time to time, Epson updates its firmware to ensure the printer operates as designed. The Expression Home XP-4100 is designed to use only genuine Epson-brand ink cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. Please ensure you have installed genuine Epson cartridges.
