    Do not but this printer. It constantly runs out of ink and I do not even print that much. I have gone through 3 black ink cartridges in 2 months.

    The set-up was complicated and a few of the steps had to be repeated several times because they did not work well. The copier function did not work. I am returning the product.

    This is the worst printer I have ever owned. After replacing one ink cartridge it runs a cycle that almost depletes the other ink cartridges.

    I just put this printer in a dumpster. The paper jams and poor ink quality have made this thing impossible to use. I’m going back to Canon.

    This Epson printer uses too much ink. To make a copy, it is difficult. Very technical to operate. If I could turn the clock back, I would not have purchased this printer.

    Don't buy! Ask you to change ink after no more than 20 pages, and you can't do anything if any color out. Even you print in grayscale, it will reduce your color ink.

      Hello, thanks for sharing your experience regarding your XP-4105 printer. To keep the print head clear and ready to print, the printer uses a small amount of ink from all the cartridges whenever it prints. Some color ink is still being used even if you select Black/Grayscale or Grayscale in the printer software. The print head needs to be kept charged to prevent air bubbles from entering and damaging the print head. Therefore, once one of the cartridges is expended, the printer signals you to replace the cartridge for printing to continue.     Ink doesn’t last long enough. Black ink does not print the whole world. It’s light on top dark on the bottom.

    Would be nice if it actually printed

    We got everything all setup, which was a pain, and then tried to print the test page, and everything came out really faint. We triple checked the ink, but nothing worked. Returned it as soon as possible.

    More hassle than its worth

    I purchased this printer about 3 months ago and it has been the worst piece of technology I own. It's slow, it eats ink cartridges like a V8, and its more of a task to use than anything.

    I was very disappointed with this product. It took a lot to set it up, then he just quit working. I returned it to my local Best Buy and the clerk that helped me was very rude.

    This printer consumes ink like its water. I have only printed out three sets of class notes for about 30 pages total and the ink ran out. Go with HP if you are buying a printer.
