I work at home but do not need a high capacity printer. This one is perfect and suits my needs. I had the XP 200 which lasted me for 7 years and am hoping this will last close to that.

Have had no problems printing taxes. This is not the fastest printer but print quality is very clear and fits my needs. Probably would not recommend for large print jobs.

It is light weight and easy to use . My son can bring it home and school because its light weight plus the ink is not expensive and does the job.

I can easily scan in documents and email them to my instructor. This printer also has an email address of its own and can receive prints directly thru email. It’s WiFi enabled and has air print capabilities.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For a few-frills printer this was easily setup, initialization was simple, and initial print quality was very good. Epson has Linux drivers available on their website. They're not required to work (CUPS drivers seemed fine) but using the Epson drivers gets a few more features, like ink levels showing up. I'm using Linux Mint 19.3 and the .deb drivers just worked once I had the print service auto-discover the printer and change the drivers from CUPS to the Epson ones, but like I said it was working with the CUPS drivers, too. I bought this printer because my last Epson, an XP-446, developed a "cannot print black" issue after a while and I never got it addressed while under warranty. I'm fairly certain that's because I print so rarely that the nozzles got clogged from just sitting around doing nothing.

Sadly, I barely ever got to use this before the scanner just up and died. I did some troubleshooting and got the drivers up to date and nothing changed. It just sounds like a dying robotic cat. I'm glad that I didn't replace the ink cartridges because the printer wasn't very good, either and now it's just kaput.
