This is the third Epson color printer that I have used over the past ten years. Plugged print heads have been the reason that I have replaced the old printers.

I have been giving it a chance for over 6 months now. I have spent so much money on ink (yes, using genuine Epson 212 ink cartridges). I really do not even do that much printing but this printer, by far, uses more ink than any inkjet I have ever used. The last 2 times I have changed ink because it stopped in the middle of a two-sided print job, it makes a horrible ratchetting sound & jams the paper. It claims to offer excellent print quality for photos & docs; it's good, not excellent. The ability to print from other devices via wi-fi is great, but most printers offer that now. As far as software, I have had to uninstall & reinstall the drivers many times. The scanning function from the installed software on the desktop is not user friendly & takes too many steps to scan & file a simple document.

College Students AVOID

This printer is NOT the one for you!! The issues that people have brought up in the reviews are 100% accurate. This thing constantly needs an update. It's wireless but for whatever reason the double-sided feature won't work so I'm wasting so much paper AND THE INK ISSUE OMGG. It uses the ink up so fast LIKE RIDICULOUSLY FAST. I bought ink one Thursday and by next week it was low. It's just not a financially smart move to own this specific one if you're in school, on a budget and printing out things for coursework. It's honestly the crappiest printer I've ever owned and I'm so upset that I'm stuck with it. I'll probably sell it on FB marketplace or something. Learn from my mistake and get anything besides this printer. Pros: size is great, prints relatively quickly
