Had to replace my old wireless printer. This was the best decision I made for a replacement. Easy setup, only takes a matter of minutes to have it up and running. Print quality is top notch.

I'm thrilled with my new Epson printer purchased at Best Buy! The in-store experience was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my questions before I made my decision. Best Buy had the exact model I wanted in stock at a competitive price. Setting up the printer at home was a breeze thanks to Epson's clear instructions. The print quality is excellent for both documents and photos, and the wireless connectivity works flawlessly with all my devices. Overall, a fantastic printer and a great in-store experience with Best Buy. Highly recommend!

For a budget all-in-one, I'm really impressed with this printer. My last few printers have been higher end Epson photo AIOs and they have served me pretty well, but when my last one quit on me (after close to 10 years!), money was a little tight and I just needed the basics. I was skeptical of a printer costing less than half the price of my last 3, but I simply didn't need all the bells and whistles and I urgently needed to print stuff! I had this delivered same-day from my local store to save me a trip ($10 well spent for me!), and setup went MOSTLY smooth. I'll elaborate. I hate wireless connections for things that don't ever move and this is why. My previous printer used a wired ethernet connection which this printer does not have and I have long since lost a super-long USB cable I'd used with printers in the past, so I was stuck with Wi-fi for now. I got connected great and everything worked at first, but I kept losing connection. The answer is - don't turn the printer off. It goes into standby and stays connected, and since I quit turning it off, it has worked every time I've printed for the last couple weeks with no problems. The downside of this is that every time my power goes out (which happens every week or two around here), I expect the printer to stop working and I'm going to have to reconnect it to my Wi-fi. I'm not a fan of USB to be honest (wiggle it, it's broken, wiggle again, it's fixed), but I WILL be getting a long USB cable to keep the printer hard-wired. I think it IS possible to set up a static IP address and blah-blah-blah but who really wants to go down that rabbit hole? I don't have that kind of time. That is just stuff to keep IT people employed. For myself at home, I'd rather just buy a long cable. I don't really like the rear tray paper loading. It's going to sit there gathering dust and will pretty much require pulling the paper out if I want to put a dust cover on the printer (if you have a cat, you will understand...), but it works. Those are really my only complaints though. I seldom print photos these days, and while I used to print CDs/DVDs a lot, I don't feel the need to pay extra for a printer that will do that anymore. I haven't tried printing any photos with this printer, but from what I've seen, I think it would do a sufficient job with the 4 inks rather than the 6 that I'm used to. Quality of text printouts is excellent if you tweak the settings a little. I've been very pleased with the print quality overall. As long as it stays connected, this is a great little printer. If I find myself really NEEDING the features of a fancier printer, I'll upgrade and maybe move this one to my workshop, but it's doing everything I need it to do right now and for the price paid, I'm very happy with it. One kind of quirky thing that I actually really like - my old printer would automatically extend the output tray when I would print something. In my tight quarters in my house, this kind of got in the way. This printer requires you to pull the output tray out manually, so when I print, my pages just spit out onto the floor. That might be an issue for some, but I actually like it. No tray to push back in to keep my girlfriend from running into it when she walks by the printer! If I'm printing more than one page, I'll gladly pull out the tray to catch the sheets, but often I'm only printing a single page (recipes and lists!) and I actually don't mind picking it up off of the floor, due to our space constraints. I'm also really pleased to see automatic double sided printing in a printer at this price point. I can do without a lot of bells and whistles, but that is a required feature for me. I have not tried the scanner yet. I need a scanner about twice a year usually, but when I need it - I need it. I haven't seen a scanner that wouldn't do everything I need since the early 90's (does anyone remember greyscale or dithered monotone "hand scanners"? Yep, I used 'em), so I'm confident that it will serve my needs. As long as you can keep a reliable connection, this printer is excellent for every-day home use and I've been very pleased with the print quality. This is not meant for large documents or office use, but when you just need to occasionally print/scan a document or two, this thing is a clear winner. I paid the same price for printers years ago that wouldn't do half of what this printer does. It's a great home unit that will serve most people very well.

I bought for my daughters home work and it works great! I looked for a cheap small printer and this was a great find. I would recommend for small printing jobs, easy to assembly and work.

This printer Epson Expression Home XP-4200 have a great feature which is easy to use. However, the cartridge need to be replaced after printer like only 30 pages I believe . The print out excellent and great price.
