I initially was going to return it for no reason. But decided to keep it. I really love it! My favorite thing about this printer is its size, which is sort of compact compared to other printers. My old printer was pretty bulky and took up Spence in my small apt. But this Epson printer is perfect! The quality is great. No complaints! Does what it says it does.

I purchased this printer because it can be connected directly to the computer. I bought others in the past that can only be connected via wi-fi. Problems always occur.

I’ve had an epson and a canon in the past and my epsons ink dried out after 13 years and my canons paper jammed. I love this printer because it has AirPrint and I can print from my iPhone ad iPad as I’ve also been a free lance graphic designer for 24 years and this is the one printer that prints my pics true to form. My original epson used to be n ink sucker but this one great value for the money. Highly recommend.

Print quality is great. Every time i try to use another feature i need to download more software. Nothing automation installs. Why would i buy a scanner if i didn't want to scan. Include the software/ drivers with the install.

Great little printer! Super affordable, prints quickly, and print quality is as good as some of those more expensive printers. Air print is extremely useful to print fro any device on my network. My only complaint is that the ink drains rather quickly, and there is no way to bypass to print when a particular ink runs out. I ran out of yellow ink, but had plenty black and still could not print in just black and white without replacing the yellow. I bought this printer 3 years ago, use it daily, yand still going strong.

Works fine so far. Doesn’t take up much space which is nice. Set up was a little tricky for a non-tech person. Purchased for and set up for an elderly parent who could never have done it alone. Does what it needs to at a good price. As usual, ink is the most costly part of the equation. Far prefer Epson over HP printers.

I did have trouble setting up the wi-fi for this printer but was able to finally set it up with help from Epson. Of course cartridges that come along with the printer, don't last very long but this is the normal practice. I like the size of it and am happy so far with printing.

This could be longer but, for the price and the fact that this printer works with older Mac products, definitely worth it. Compact, so limited scanning functionality in that regard, but otherwise a winner.

Had an old HP that quit working so after reading many reviews I opted for this printer. It’s been about 2 months but so far I’m pleased. I’ve done everything this printer can do both wireless and wired and it hasn’t missed a beat. Definitely recommend to anyone with kids and basic office use.

Epson includes starter ink cartridges, so you can begin printing right away. Still, you should pick up extra color cartridges immediately. After 14 color photos on 4×6 paper, two letter-sized borderless photos, and two color documents, the yellow cartridge was empty, while cyan and magenta were very low. As usual, black lasts a long time. The Epson Expression Home XP-4200 is an attractive, affordable printer that can deliver good value, depending on your needs. As the name suggests, Epson designed it for home use where you aren’t printing in high volume. The print speed would feel slow in an office, but that might not be a problem at home where you’re not on the clock. The print, copy, and scan features all offer good quality. Unless you have a critical eye for color, the photo quality will satisfy your urge to share physical prints with family and friends.
