Good so far, I've had the printer for only about 1 month, & no problems so far.

the printer is slow and picture quality not as good as a HP

Honestly I hate this printer. It constantly disconnects from WiFi, it's slow, the software freezes all the time right in the middle of trying to scan a few documents - then when you try to start over the printer just tells you it's busy and locks you out of doing anything. I have only been able to use it a handful of times without it acting up one way or another - skip this one and get something else.

Worthless purchase and they sold me the wrong ink, 220 it has not worked since the tester ink finish, I bought the 232 ink and printer won’t recognize it even though it’s installed

Not very good quality. Problems setting up. Still cannot connect to wifi. Would not purchase again

This was my first printer for my home and I don't believe I made a good choice.

No warning about remanufactured cartridges not working. Must use often or head clogs. Used up color cartridges in simple test and can’t print in black with low cartridges. Just awful. Wish I stayed HP..

Still cannot get printer to connect to wifi or computer

This is the worst printer ever. I do not recommend buying an Epson printer. I brought this printer for on April 10th and never used or unpacked the printer til May 1st. I did not use it and brand new. It COULD NOT PRINT! I tried everything and brought new cartridges. Now, I have to return it. Crap

The printing very faded and poor quality . Difficult to align papers . .

Unable to install drivers on my HP Omni laptop (ARM-based processor) with Windows 11. Tried both wifi and USB cable. Best Buy Geek Squad tried various ways; they got some kind of driver installed but it does not print correctly; skips lines.

Too loud when printing copies! That appears unusual for most printers at a similar price point. Not as practical to load blank paper. However, a good price if thats all you want in a printer.

After purchasing this name brand Epson discovered there are many Class Action Lawsuit against them. One for company trying to corner the market on refilled ink cartridges by disabling Epson printers when non-Epson print cartridges is installed. Wish I had known before purchasing this product. Should of bought a HP instead.

Runs out of ink really fast and replacement cartridges are more than the cost of the printer.

I advise against purchasing the Epson XP-4200 Printer. It consumes an excessive amount of printer ink, much like a gas-guzzling vehicle. After printing only 30-40 pages, you would need to spend $52 plus tax on ink. To avoid this expense, it would be best to avoid buying this printer unless you are financially well-off.

Sales person was not knowledgeable on this printer. Unable to anwer basic questions.

Haven’t had any luck pairing this printer with my Chromebook. Wish I had known before hand that it wasn’t compatible. My wife has a HP laptop and it matched up right away. Not sure if I’ll keep the printer or buy one that matches it.

printer works fine but it will ONLY take Epson branded ink. It will not recognize any other ink cartridge. Epson branded ink for this printer costs more than the printer costs. What a scam!

I guess for the price point it does what it is supposed to. I cannot get a 12x12 paper to be printed on. Which is somewhat a bummer. It took forever for set up.
