Worse than any Epson printer I've ever owned.

Burns through ink like water, and after one replacement it quit printing black. Are usually always try to use Epson printers, but this one is total junk and wish I never would've bought it! Cartridges are way too expensive and only last very few pages compared to other printers. The scanning feature works well, and when it prints it prints well it just runs through ink incredibly fast, I do not recommend this printer.

I have had an Epson XP-4100 purchased 2 years ago. Suddenly it stopped connecting to wireless router. This is the 3rd Epson printer I have purchased i the past 5 years. I probably will not purchase another Epson because the connectivity cannot be trusted. Other than this problem it's has been a great device.

    Long time Epson printer user

This is the worst Epson printer i have ever owned. I bought it yesterday and it took almost three hours to set up. It tells you to use the Epson smart app to setup. I downloaded it and followed the instructions.. It tells me i'm connected to the wireless but when i look on the screen it tells me i am not connected. Tried using the screen to set up and after several tries it finally connected. No where does it tell you that you that after entering your router password that you have to scroll down to the bottom to get it to accept the ok button. It is supposed to be wireless but will not print without a USB cable plugged into it. If you buy it have the Geek Squad set it up for you if your a total tech member other wise you will be frustrated. I needed a printer right away and did not want to spend a fortune on a echo tank printer right now. I used to work in IT so it should not have been this hard for me. I am going to try and get my old workforce printer fixed and use it instead. It prints wirelessly.

    Problem with paper printing properly

I'm having a problem with the paper staying lined up after it starts to print out the paper. The paper looks like it is lined up properly but it moves over a little bit. The printer will say that the paper is not lined up correctly but it will still print out what is on the screen. Can you help me with this?

Word to the wise. Do not purchase XP-4200!!!!! You must have ALL four ink cartridges to print in black. When you print in black, they have set this up to where it draws from the other three cartridges and the black to print ONLY black. Scam is written all over this. I also bought this from Best Buy. I was not told this. The Epson sales representative was telling us about it and failed to explain this.

    Disappointing!

We purchased this printer partly on good reviews from others. We have tried everything to get decent copies from this machine but nothing seems to work. Even on the slowest print speed drawings or pictures are blurry, colors are off and letters aren't sharp and clear. I guess you get what you pay for since it was inexpensive, but sadly our old HP printer was so much better.

This is such a terrible printer. It shouldn’t even be sold. Best Buy should be ashamed for selling such terrible quality. I rarely use it so I couldn’t return it. By the time I realized how awful it was. It just simply won’t print and I can’t figure out how to get it to you and no one will help me a Best Buy. The Epson app sucks, and it will not connect to my computer no matter how hard I try!!! GARBAGE!!!!

    Garbage/Trash/Horrible

I wish I would have read the reviews on this thing before I bought it. They should just stop selling these. I spent so much money on ink and trying to fix it. I've had so many issues with it. Super frustrating and inconvenient. Now its broken and saying that there's no paper in the paper loader also you'd think connectivity would be a breeze but no its impossible. Do not buy!

This printer is useless. Constant paper jams, babysitting everything you attemtpt to print then constantly replacing the overpriced print heads. Scanner works well just not anything that uses paper. Save yourself the hastle.

This should have been smile to set up but it would not connect to my computer using the Wi-Fi, had to call support both at Epson and my internet provider. Did not come with a usb cable to hook up direct. Does not have a touch screen. paper sticking up in the back is ugly.

    DO NOT BUY

Awful to install. Screwed up my computer to a point I had to spend almost as much as the printer cost to fix things. Complicated to use. Not a touch screen. Must go through buttons to the right as pictured to move forward or backward. Most of the time I can't pull up just print. NOT all-in-one. Found that out after investing in tech fix. Too much money invested to return.

Screen has not worked since day one. Ran out of ink surprisingly fast. I can't think of any situation where this low amount of ink would be suitable. I messed around and missed return window

Absolute piece of trash. The paper feeds crooked so there are constant paper jams. Successfully printed 10 crooked pages of simple text and the black ink ran out. Really angry I paid $60 for this piece of trash in my house
