what timing! i had a epson xp-410 prior to xp-430. The 410 lasted about 3 years with about 100 pages printed every month. The 430 was only on its 3rd XL black ink before the same problem happened. bought brand new oem ink and it does not print! After some research, it seems like the printer head needs to be cleaned manually. I don't want to spend hours cleaning a $50 printer.

I only print out black/white documents but the printer says low ink for color ink cartridges and won't print black/white unless all color inks are replaced. I called Epson customer service and she said even printing black/white documents only, still using color ink. i DO NOT understand. Where did my red/blue/yellow ink go on my black/white documents? I will NEVER buy Epson printer again.

Using an iMac, it periodically will not print, because of a "filter" problem. Have to run set up all over again.

I have not been able to use it..Having issues setting it up for printing. .I need to naked a 2nd trip to geek squad

This printer prints okay. But it doesn't print dark enough. Sometimes you can barely read what it prints.

It didn't even last for 6 months! HP, Brother, or Canon would definitely be better options. I had to buy a new printer after only 6 months and I'm a student so I don't use my printer as often. It would be the last time I buy an Epson! The printing quality was awful and it didn't support double sided printing either! Such a waste of money!

When I inserted the disc that came with the printer into my Dell desktop, it never gave me any prompting on how to load the drivers. Epson customer service wasn't available so I contacted a Dell technical service for help. Together we spent three and a half hours trying to get this printer to work to no avail. I took it back. No more Epson printers for me.

When it worked it worked well but the wireless printing often did not work.

Setting the printer up was fairly simple but trying to get the wi-fi set up was not an easy task.

Wireless effortlesly works fine, but cannot Print from computer thru USB connection!

Printer never worked from the beginning. I regret not returning it when I could.

This printer is very slow and sometimes it skips pages which is very annoying.

I purchased this printer for my daughter to use when she went back to college. Easy to setup and prints very nice. Epson printers are hands down very reliable and this is my second printer. The first one I have had for over 9 years and have never had a single problem. Hopefully this new one will provide great service. The price was 1/2 off so it was the first and only choice when we looked for an inexpensive printer that would support her printing needs in college.

Crap. Stopped working in under a year. Just like all the other bad printers out there. Geek Squad protection plan covered a new one but it crapped out too. Epson is the worst

I read all the reviews before I made the purchase. Worst mistake every purchasing this printer. Did not print over wifi and I kept having to enter my wifi password everytime I tried to use the printer. On my computer it keeps showing that it is offline. I will never buy an Epson printer again.

Ink carts are defective and are always smeared when replaced. Epson just wants to send me another piece of junk and Bestbuy refuses to do anything even though its 4 days past the return policy. Hard to tell if the printer is defective until you change the cartridge. Do not buy this junk.

The paper can't be fixed on the printer. I have to put it in position with my hands. The printer grabs the paper so harshly and almost destroys the poet before printing. The ink used up very quickly. I only printed less than 80 pages one side. The black ink was used up the .
