Epson is junk!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stay away from Epson printers. They are junk. The last printer lasted only 4 months. Print heads clog constantly.

Terrible - broke after 1 month of use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend people do not purchase this printer. Initially (day one) the printer was not printing the entire page, so we did some work around fixes and it temporarily worked better. Then after 1 month of use it stopped and the initial problem we had with it was worse and after 5 different fixes from someone who used to work at Best Buy geek squad, it was determined the printed was non-functional and broken. Now I get to go do battle with Best Buy to return this because I didn't buy their warranty. I shouldn't have to buy a warranty to do a return on a broken product.

Cheap Piece of Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer as my old one quit on me. I have had it for two months, and it is absolutely garbage. I am about to unplug it and take it back to the store to see if they will take it back. If you are printing on a regular piece of paper without a special size or design you will be okay....I guess. But I tried to use this to print out invitations to a party. The only way I could get them to line up was to keep adjusting the margins. I even called the company and they would not help at all. I then tried to print labels for CD for the same event, and they would not print correctly either. Just garbage.

Extremely Poor Printing Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a longtime (15 years plus) user of Epson printers, I have tried Epson XP-430 and XP-640 recently and was unpleasantly surprised to observe a visible deterioration of their printing quality (especially the quality of photo printing). The colors of printed photos do not faithfully reflect the colors of the original digital files, and there is always a pervasive dullness (or, lacklusterness, so to speak) over the printed images. Something seems to have happened to either the printer design, manufacturing, or ink cartridges, which has severely affected the quality of printing (esp. photo printing). I hope Epson has not tried to cut production costs at the cost of printer quality, which would cause its printers to lose their competitive edge in the current market.

Ink makes this printer worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer and its features are nice, but the ink is the big downfall. I'm a college student and wanted a printer for essays and reports. I didn't realize when reading reviews for this printer that the printer refuses to print in greyscale if you're low on magenta/cyan/yellow cartridges. I was fooled by the low costing black ink thinking I could print on black ink alone. The 4-ink pack with all three colors costs $55 which is more than what I paid for the printer. A brief Amazon search also didn't seem to have reliably ink duplicates for a cheaper price. The ink capacity is also low and not even close to 50 pages of black and white printing. Not worth it if you print regularly and don't want to shell out $55/month to replace the ink cartridges.

The worst priner I have ever had.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer worked fine for about two months. Then it started to fail. I have been unable to re connect it back to my network and I have tried to get help from Epson Support with no luck. I basically will have to just buy another printer and I have only had it about four months. Waste of money.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase this printer the printer runs out of ink fast and I only had the printer for year and a half and it stop printing. Called for support did not get any help from the company was told to go buy a new printer. Had better printer brands that lasted longer than a year. Would not buy has a lot of issues. Also when I replaced the ink in the printer it did not work and the company sent me new ones.

Worst printer I have ever used
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is awful. It consistently will not print over wifi. I have turned it on and off multiple times, re-entered all of the wifi information several times, downloaded every driver available and it still does not connect and print. Do yourself a favor and go with the xp-830. More money, but far more reliable and better performing.

Waste of time and money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer has many faults. First, ink is expensive and goes out fast. Second, its slow. Wifi doesn't work. Keep giving an error that it cannot read printer ink after printing several pages. It has caused many hours of frustration in trying to clear error codes. I will never buy and epson product again.
