    My last 3 printers (2 3-in-1) and last independent scanner have all been Epson, and gave me no problems. I chose the XP-440 for that reason when I was setting up a friend's computer; my XP-310 remains at my desk at home. Doesn't fail, prints well, albeit a little slow in Best Photo mode. But I won't get rid of it until it drops dead.
