    I have had many printers over the years and this is among the best, if not the best altogether. Most printers have lasted barely past a year but this Epson seems hardy and durable. Easy to hook it to your network and Google Cloud.

    This is an excellent piece of equipment for the price. It has worked well until the ink ran out... People should know that Epson has modified the software so that after market ink WILL NOT WORK!

      Hello Robert, the Epson XP-440 is designed to use only genuine Epson-brand ink cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. Epson provides information about the design of the printer on the box, as well as many other locations, including materials shipped with the printer.     Finicky piece of equipment. Once you get it going it is pretty good for the price paid, however as usual HP Ink cartridges are expensive. HP makes is so that for this printer to work you must use HP.
