There was a only small amount of black ink that came with it. Paper tray is on outside of printer which allows the paper to become soiled before using. Directions are not clear on the screen. Also, the screen is not touch screen and it is unnecessarily difficult to navigate the menu on the printer. I would not recommend this printer to anyone. Especially a friend.

I’ve had to troubleshoot & run tests every single time I have to print something. Now the black ink has completely stopped working even though it’s still half full. I’ve only used this printer approximately 15 times so it’s not like it should be worn out. Just spend the extra money to get a nicer printer. Wish I did.

I would not recommend if you plan on doing a lot of printing. Ink cartridges are super small. They ran out on us weekly. Then the belt came off giving us a 000031 error code. Out of warranty and not easy to fix. It is cheaper to buy new one vs. repair. Lasted a little over a year for us. If you are not using it daily, might work for you. Just didn’t last long for us. Pros: WiFi printing, Scanner, It did print Cons: Small ink cartridges, Small paper capacity, Felt cheap and it broke
