An OK printer..

Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. From time to time, Epson updates its firmware to ensure the printer operates as designed. Don’t love it

Not what I had hoped...

Small, cheap and efficient.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-440 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. My home office set up to in a really tight place. I really don't have room for a printer here, but a printer is a must, so I have made one fit. I am really pleased with how compact and small this printer is. If you need to save on space, or have a printer that is portable, this is the printer for you. I really appreciate that I can print wirelessly and there is no need to hook it up to my computer or device. That means fewer cords in my way. I love being able to print from my phone or tablet too. So convenient not to have to start up the computer every time I need to print something. As far as print quality, it does a good job for this price range. It does a great job with document and an okay job with photos. It's is on the slower side compared to my other printer, but it does a pretty well. I like that you can change ink cartridges individually when they run out and I hope that will save me on ink in the long run. This device is super simple to set up. Out of the box I had it running in no time. This is not a complicated device and it gets the job done while saving me on space! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a low-cost, space saving printer.

Wireless printer with ease?

Disappointing product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an Epson - Expression Home XP-440 Wireless All-In-One Printer - Black I have complaints about this printer. I order on November 26th, 2018. It’s been delivered on December 6th. I installed last night and start to use it the next day, oh, boy! I am so disappointed. This printer is not a smart one. Here are the reasons why I don’t like it AT ALL: 1. When I sent the file to print, the print doesn’t print the pages from last page to first page. It prints the first page to last page. So, I must put the all pages in order. A smart printer won’t have this problem. It will automatically in order. 2. This printer can't print on both sides on every paper sheet. Like I said it is not a smart printer. 3. Every time I use it, it has short of noisy. I don't know what that is. 4. The scanner doesn't scan your file to your computer, you had to USB to connect it and I don’t see a USB outlet on the printer. I thought it would scan to my computer through Wi-Fi, but it really does not. I strongly don’t recommend this kind of printer to any of my friends. I bought a HP -Envy 5055 All-in-one Instant Ink, it was $65 when I bought it. Now it’s $99.99. I would buy this printer again and recommend to my friends.

Not pleased with this printer.

The computer to printer efforts that do not work, MIGHT do so on another occasion when I do not need or want the copy. We had a HP printer that was old and planned to purchase another HP, but there were non available in the required size. The Epson XP-440 was on sale and the right size but is not fulfilling our requirements which are actually very small.

Simple 8x11 printing only

I am trying to print on post cards and envelopes and it wont print, and says there is a paper jam. Very disappointing. the scanning is not very user friendly as well. I would not recommend this printer for anything else but printing single sheet 8x11 paper. You get what you pay for I guess.

works ok

Just ok
