    worked well in the beginning, then print head became clogged. nightmare now. thankfully I have the geek squad 2 year replacement warranty. would not recommend to a friend.

    First off: “This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-440 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” On to the unbias review. First thing you will notice is the great packaging. Worry not when you order online as it is well packed, so unless the shipping company is abusing the box for purpose of destroying it I would say that it will arrive with no damage. The setup is super easy even my none tech savy mother could hook this up to our wifi. The printer itself takes up such little room I have it sitting on an end table till I am done unpacking boxes in my house. There is a great tilt feature for the screen/controls so you can easily see without having to bend over. The lcd screen is just the right size and color to see all you need to make your print/scan jobs easy and fast. As for install on your pc make sure you run the software as administrator. The installation has a few programs to install some you need such as print and scan others you shall not unless you care to assist in sharing your printer information with Epson to make their products/drivers better in the future. For Iphone/Ipad users there is nothing to install or download. The printer was listed once it and my Iphone 7+ were connected to the same wifi I was able to print with ease. Android users should be the same but I was only able to test the Samsung Galaxy S7 as that is what my wife has currently. So as for the Samsung Galaxy S7 it was a just as simple with being on the same wifi network and then once you touch to print you select the Epson XP-440 printer. Then in mere seconds your print job is done. The printing speed is second to none for this size printer at home. I tested this with my older HP wifi printer and it was almost 10 seconds faster. Plus with this being top loaded paper vs bottom pulled there was no worry of paper jams as my HP would shake the paper in the loading tray back and would jam as it went to print more then one page. The quality is just as you would expect with any printer with the name Epson on it. There were no smears or smudges of any kind and each line was printed as it appeared on your print preview screen. All in all I would highly recommend this printer as it is very small footprint in your home or office. Plus it does not cost a lot and is very easy to install. Plus it can print from all the devices we now all use daily!

    The printer was just okay but the colors were not good enough for being new. Even though the price was cheap eventually the ink and machine would be a money pit. I also noticed there was no fax capability.

    You get what you pay for !

    The print quality is okay but it is VERY SLOW! Uses ink VERY quickly! No two-side print option. Overall - Not impressed. But, for $50+ dollars I should have known better! Going to put in my sons room and buy a better printer!

    I didn’t even have the thought that a 100 dollar printer wouldn’t have features such as double sided printing, well... it doesn’t and I’ve printed about 5 normal word documents and the black ink is half empty.

    This printer is a real disappointment. It’s lacking the option of 2 sided printing and it takes a long time to cue up even a simple document. The screen is awkward to use and requires a lot to touching.

    Do not buy it! Even though it sells at $1, don't buy! It's just a junk! The original cartridges only have little ink. You almost have to change cartridges after printing ten pages. I replaced all four cartridges, which cost me a lot! I don't use it quite often(on average three pages per month), it became not working at all, even though I installed four new cartridges, it's not working anymore!! It's a trash! I would give it zero star or minus stars if I can.

    I bought for like $30-$40 so I got what I paid for I suppose...sucks ink faster than a ‘68 Mustang sucks fuel...constantly having to run test page as it always seems to have lines through color pages

    System Error is its favorite thing to say

    So I bought this $50 printer and my roommate and I couldn't get it to work. We called Epson and got directed to 3 different people. Come to find out we have to wait A MONTH for the updated version. We are not happy.

    I hate this printer...I got it set up which was a big deal furniture/desk wise only to find out it does not have a fax! Not an all-in-one then. It takes a lot of ink and I print maybe two to five pages a month, usually only black and white print. As soon as a change one color ink, the other one will say low, even though it wasn't a few minutes before. The ink does cost as much as the printer does brand new. Honestly, I've had this a year and am going to give it away. The print quality is not reliable, even with maintenance, head cleaning, etc.

    Cheap printer but you get what you pay for. Constantly needs to be cleaned. Every time I use it I have to reconnect to wifi and sometimes it won’t connect.

    This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-440 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. First of all, this printer was very easy to set up. I just went thru instructions, they were very clear and easy to follow. I am a small business owner and this printer is all I need. It prints, it scans, it makes copies, I can even print flayers or photos with it. The quality surprised me. I can not get this quality from most of the photo centers! I love that it has a wireless printing, so you can print directly from your phone or tablet, no need for an app. This printer is very compact and lightweight. It has separate cartages for different colors, so you just replace the one that is empty. Overall, this is a great printer with many features and it makes high quality prints /scans, which is very affordable too. I highly recommend this printer to everyone.

    I unfortunately purchased this in the summer before my daughters college classes started in August;therefore, I missed the return window. It would not connect to the dorm Wifi no matter what we tried. We purchased a cord so she can print from her computer directly from the printer. That doesn’t work. Even with the software installed on her computer. It’s a big paperweight and I can’t return it.

    Didn’t last long. After light use, it stopped printing. Kept telling me no ink after I installed ink. Will never buy Epson again.

    Simple Printer, Great Results!

    This printer does everything its supposed to and at a GREAT price! Even comes with ink cartridges! So easy to set up. I was printing in 20 minutes after unpacking. Size is nice and compact. Prints quickly and colors are on point! I do quite a bit of printing and scanning and this works great with my PC, laptop, tablets, and smartphones all wireless. This replaced a Canon MX922 and for the same features the Epson is about half the price and weight! Makes a great travel companion. Very pleased with this printer.     Difficult to set up

    The printer was low quality and suprisingly difficult to set up. Each part felt it was gonna break at the slightest touch and bestbuy wouldnt even let me return it.

    I guess you get what you pay for with this printer. This is the most finicky, temperamental printer I’ve ever had. You have to constantly reset and realign everything, even without changing cartridges. It won’t stay connected to the wifi either. Splurge a little more and get a better quality printer.
