Picked this printer up for home use - really didn't need anything special or fancy and the price was very reasonable. Once I got it home and started the installation process, which was very easy, I was shocked at what this little $50 printer could do. I used the automated connection to my home network which was very easy. Then I started reading some of the information available through Epson's website about the services their printers offered. BTW this is my fourth Epson printer, but the others are five or six years old and didn't offer all the services available now. I set up the email abilities and now can print from anywhere in the world! Not sure that this feature would be all that useful for me, but I am sure it would appeal to others. I printed directly from my iPhone and iPad and even used the email capability to see how it worked. I used the scanner capability to put several important health documents into the cloud so that I could always retrieve them if necessary and Epson has even improved on this service with it's newer line of printers. For a $50 printer I am extremely impressed and would definitely recommend this printer to a friend.

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-440 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is very compact and great printer and doesn't occupy much space on your desk. The printer setup is very easy and quick. Once I unboxed, and have the cartridges set up, I was able to quickly connect it to the Wi-Fi and did some couple of testing with phone, Laptop and desktop/PC. I opened a PDF document in my iPhone 5s and tried to print it, where it quickly listed out the printers name. Within seconds of choosing 'Printer name' , I got the paper printer in less than 1 minute. The quality was amazing and I couldn't find a trace of ink blurry in the printer paper. The color of the ink in the font was uniform throughout the document with an amazing quality. I did the same test from my Laptop and Desktop where I was able to quickly find out the printer once I select the print option. I tried testing from different rooms in my home and still was able to detect the printer correctly and have the documents printer. The price is worth and inexpensive for the high quality product that we receive.

Only prints everything with red hue, even in black and white Have tried maintenance options, cleaning etc with no success Have had plenty of Epson printers and love them all but this must be defective

This printer is difficult to use. We bought it for a short timeshare visit to conduct business. We never got the wireless connection. Scan would work one page at a time. Printing was fine.

The printer is great for the price point, but it is a CHEAP printer. This is no frills basic printer/scanner/copier. I am a little biased, having used enterprise or SMB printers daily for the last 10 years, but it is still a decent printer. Pros: Small footprint. Easy to use. quiet. Ink is cheap Cons: Takes forever to set up WiFi if you have a long complex password. Ink goes fast. Feels cheap. The lid to the scanner fell off of mine while unboxing Would recommend for light to medium use. Definitely not a printer to use daily

It prints 1 or 2 pages fine but any more than that it would print 1/2 of the first page and stop. I had to turn it off and back on to clear. Did this numerous times.

If you don’t use the colored ink at least once a week the entire cartridge will go dry. This was a huge disappointment.

Bad customer service fromEpson and Best Buy Printer won’t print unless has all colors I only needed to print black and white

Has anyone ever bought a printer that was any good for more than a couple of months. This one, like all the others I have owned, is junk

Sucks we are only able to print one or two times and it says we are out of ink worse printer stay away

First of all let me say that this was very easy to set up. Pretty much just plug it in and it will tell you where to go from there step by step. I opened the box and took out the printer and I was very impressed with the quality of the printer. I have used several brands in various price ranges and this is a lot of machine and for a little bit of cash. I turned on the unit and it booted up and took me through installing the ink and even explained about removing the tabs from the ink cartridges. After they were installed I connected it to the wifi, really strong connection considering how far my router is from the place I put the printer. I printed text and it was very crisp and I also printed several photos and they were high quality. I also noticed how quiet it was and how quickly it printed even from my Cell Phone. All in all I am very happy with this printer and recommend it to anyone looking for a good printer for a great price.

Difficult to connect to WiFi. Problem with print nozzles. Tired of dealing with all the issues of the Epson printers and am going back to an HP printer.

Easy setup was the only thing that was good. Would not make a simple copy, stuff off the computer had lines missing and in general a poor print. It’s junk!

Black ink smeared from the get go. Did multiple alignments and head cleanings. Even tried a whole other new ink cartridge, still smudged.

Best buy will only assist me in addressing connection problems if I pay $100 for geeks. Need help. here it sits... regret buying this.

Lousy brand and not long lasting Bad product had lots of problems and was only a year or so old. Never get Epson again

if you dont print often, it wont print correctly and you gotta keep cleaning the brush, print to clean it, and it just wastes your ink!

This is a really great printer – super easy to set up and use. The great thing about an all-in-one printers is that it saves space. This particular printer is the standard size for this category. The images are crisp and clear, whether I’m printing text or color images. It can also handle different kinds of printer paper – I use both glossy and matte for printing images. Another big convenience is that you can use it wirelessly with your computer. The more wireless options there are the better because my laptop has a limited number of ports. I was surprised by how easy it was to set up and start scanning and printing. The instructions are simple and clear. It was on the ad and had a good price. But it didn’t print out properly. Returned it and purchased Brother brand similar printer instead.

I bought this printer one year ago and it stopped working about 3 months ago. It prints blurry... i wish I would’ve gotten a HP...
