Bought two of these - BOTH stopped printing

No amount of cleaning or alignment and replacing cartridges worked. I bought a second one but it went bad faster than the first. It wont even recognize Epson ink cartridges and will not print anything.

I could not put it back on and now it is broken. Anyone know where i can fix this? The internet is not helping . .Watched youtube which made me take it off apart.. and now stuck.

Poor print quality

I've tried every maintenance option to try and improve print quality, but it still takes multiple times printing the same document before I get a clean print. This wastes ink and time.

What a scam I looked at youtube everyone is having the same issue. I will go to a laser printer and throw this epson xp 440 in the trash where it belongs

Ink does not last

Worst $80 I have ever spent. Epson needs to stop selling this until the printer cleaning/ink issues are resolved.

Lasted til warranty expired

Sucks

Also note that Epson printers contain a permanent print head that needs to be charged with all colors to work. Even when you are printing black text only, a small amount of color ink is used to keep the print head charged, preventing air bubbles from entering. Air bubbles can damage the print head.
