Purchased this printer for small home needs and was easy to set up.

Printer was easy to set up( I’m not tech savvy) so this was perfect for me. Connecting to WiFi network is always fast and easy. Printing quality is great. For what I paid it was a no brainer plus it had great reviews.

Exactly what i needed. I just needed basic printing and scanning and being able to print without using internet.

Best for a budget. Needed something that would print and scan this does both. All controls are on little tiny screen.

Clean crisp colors; no bleeding; separate color cartridges means you only refill that color (instead of a tri-color tank)

This product could be better, it has a hard time staying on the internet when trying to do wireless printing for my wife’s business

The Epsom printer that I purchased is working exactly as I had hoped it would.

It's a good printer. After all the issues were worked out, it worked great, but they sent bad ink. Then when I went to support to request new ink since the starter was bad, they only wanted me to pay $40 dollars to allow them to remote in to fix bad ink. The alternative being bringing it in for them to fix. I refused, ordered new ink from Amazon (since they irritated me), and as expected, the printer worked. I get being a support agent, as I've worked as support before. There's a lot of times that customers just think they know what's wrong with the device, but I still hoped for better service than that. Either way, I know I'm being petty with this review, but this is my honest experience. Beyond the ink and support issues, the printer is great! Just the ink and support issues lose some big points. So long as you don't get unlucky with bad ink like me, I would bet that you'll be very satisfied with the printer & overall experience.

Easy setup and print head alignment when using smart phone. Setup using computer is more difficult.

So easy to set up. I think it took 10 mins. I forgot what stress free printing was like. No more a slave to HP InstaPrint.

I have had Epson Printers for forever and a day! I switched from HP Printers years ago and have never looked back. Their product quality, print quality and features have always been above and beyond their competition, while keeping their prices reasonable. When I say it has fewer features, I am comparing it to my decade old Epson XP-860. This printer, when compared to the 860 does not have duplex scanning, USB or SD Card connections, a second paper tray, Direct-to-Disc Printing, or line in fax capabilities. However, if you’re looking for these features, I would recommend the Epson - Expression Premium XP-7100 found at Best Buy as well. But with that being said, this printer is a fully capable printer that should be more than sufficient for all households. The setup process was simple. I used my Android Phone, downloaded the app and simply followed the step by step instructions. It took about twenty minutes and another 10 minutes for a firmware upgrade. The only hiccup in the process was connecting to my WiFi. It took two tries for the printer to connect to the WiFi. I had the benefit of having already created an Epson Connect account, so setting up a cloud location for scans was a little easier for me. However, even if I did not already have an account, the QR code and verification code that the printer prints out is easy to set up. There were a few things that made me shake my head a bit: 1) The screen IS NOT a touchscreen. I can’t lie. I tapped it a few times wondering what was wrong. The interface looks like a touchscreen, but again, it’s not. 2) There is no USB connection for a hardwired connection. You must use WiFi. 3) The face and the output tray are both manual. Meaning they do not move up and down automatically like other models do. 4) The ink cartridges do not have a definitive “click”. I questioned if they were seated and have to give them a little tug to make sure. But these are all nit-picky comments that at this price point are acceptable. They would not deter me from recommending this printer. Why you say? Because of the deep well paper tray that hold 150 pieces of paper. Because of the Epson quality printing that produces both quality and speed. Because of both the computer interface and phone app being very user friendly and intuitive. Because even though it doesn’t feel as rigid and bulky as its predecessor, it appear to be well built and more compact. Because scanning and copying are easy and high quality. As I had mentioned before, if you’re looking for a few more features, take a look XP-7100. But if the features listed are what you’re looking for, you can’t go wrong with this printer. I would recommend it to friends and family.

LOVE IT!! gets the job done and very quick. Not too big and fits perfectly in my desk!
