I finally have a printer that works!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a review for the Epson Expression premium XP -6000 Small-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I love that it is lightweight and wireless. I don't have a lot of equipment set up in my office area so there is no unnecessary clutter with extra cords. It prints efficiently and quickly and with minimal noise. I love how it gives you the option on the website to download the drivers and software for the installation because my laptop does not have a disk drive. The only downfall that this printer has from what I can see is it needs a touch screen. I spent the better part of 10 minutes punching in the code to my Wi-Fi like I was using an old style cell phone . It took an unnecessarily long time and I feel like technology has advanced enough that everything should have a touch screen. Other than that, it prints beautifully and easily with vibrant colors. With having simple setup, simple installation, and an idiot proof user guide, this printer is an absolute dream at a reasonable price for the ordinary at-home user.

Excellent printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 wireless inkjet printer is the best printer I have owned to date. It was packaged very well so as not to be damaged in shipping ( I have received a damaged printer before). The set up and instructions were very easy as were installing the ink cartridges. There are five cartridges. I wanted a printer that I could use wirelessly to be able to print from my kindle fire as well as my android phone and it does the job. The little LCD screen and menu are also very easy to use. There is a slot for a memory card which will be helpful for my photos. As far as the quality of the print, it is excellent! I am very happy to be able to print my photos at home. The printer is quiet and a nice size that does not take up a lot of space. The scanner and copier work nice and are easy to use. I am very happy with this printer so far! Highly recommend. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Easy to set up, costly to feed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Canon user for many years, this is my first Epson Printer purchase. The setup is easy it connected to my WIFI instantly. The scanner is as good as one can expect for an all in one. If photo scanning is a priority I highly recommend a dedicated version. Now for the printer, I am comparing output to my four year old Canon and prefer the Canon. Detail is only average., not stand out in any way. I also have an issue with INK usage, this thing really drinks ink compared to my Canon. Once I finished the starter inks I purchased the XL carts. and they are going fast. I will continue to recommend (and use)the Canon printers over this Epson model. If print quality is a priority stick to a dedicated printer, the more you add to the box the lower each feature quality becomes.

Awesome Printer!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 printer is totally awesome. I had my doubts about it but it proved me wrong. Double sided printing, photo printing, scanning. All with ease. I received the printer as a beta tester.

I had High Hopes...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Man, I really wanted to like this printer. I've always had great experiences with Epson printers for my photography in both high school and college and finally decided to pick one up myself to showcase some of my own work. In my experience Epson has always had superior color management over any other system. I guess I'll start with the Pros; The main thing is the scanner is the highest resolution scanner in any all-in-one that I could find, and it scans very sharp images of photo prints (I have yet to master the art of scanning 35mm negatives). Also, when it works, the printer is O.K. Ever since I first booted it up and connected it I've had this horrible banding on everything I print. I've troubleshooted everything, and ran every diagnostic about 5 times each and still have the same issue. I turned the default "High Speed" setting off which helped a bunch (why that's a default, God only knows), but the banding is still there - ESPECIALLY in the shadows/blacks. I have now wasted a full 50pc Epson Luster paper set which is not cheap, as well as most of the ink just trying to figure out how in the world to get this banding to stop but I think I either have a defective unit, or this product does NOT live up to the Epson name. Very disappointed because I really wanted to love this thing...

Does the job
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine. It’s kind of annoying it won’t print black and white if there isn’t enough color ink.

Worst printer I've ever wasted money on!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Save your money and dont buy this printer. First of all the mechanics of the printer are very odd and you have to have drawers pulled out/ pushed in precisely to get the printer to even work. I have my printer and laptop sitting right next to each other and Epson states my Wi-Fi signal is considered good but there has not been a single time that I have ever been able to get anything printed off this printer without having to shut it down and restart it. I literally want through this out of a window that is how frustrating it has been owning this. Never again, Epson this printer is an epic fail!!

what a pile of crap!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed everything per their directions - and had big issues. Contacted them and had a response from an "expert" telling me to do everything I'd already done "and this will take care of the problem." Printer is on a network - and I eventually got it to run SIMPLE jobs - sometimes. The scanner only works thru its own USB port. The power cord tends to come loose. When I try to troubleshoot using their system, it tells me to make sure it's connected via a USB cable - and that it doesn't work for network printers. I go way back with Epson, to MX-100 days, but their 21st century products ought to have a warning sheet. Had good performance from Canon, HP, and others - but I don't know whether to slam the printer, the "help" support, or both. As noted, don't buy this unless you want a tech challenge on a frequent basis.

need to restart for each print job!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow....I just can't believe that I spent this much money for the Espon XP6000 printer which needs to restart for each individual print job! Seems like the "printer cannot be found" after each print job and so I gotta turn off and turn on for Wifi connect. C'mon Epson - get ur act together and give us solutions rather than another "sorry to hear you got problems" email from your PR dept. Is hours of my aggravation worth the $50 I saved on a sale?

It ain't a Canon!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Guess you get what you pay for! Bought the XP-6000 printer because my Canon (MG7120) was having issues. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I set up the Epson EXACTLY as directed and was totally disappointed with the software included. WHERE'S the EZ Photo Print? I purchased an Epson because I use their large format DAILY in my work environment, but I'm TOTALLY disappointed with the consumer end offering. I hope I can get my Canon repaired and working. This will be a BestBuy return for sure!!!

Don’t do it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quit working after having it for a year, it won’t connect to my laptops or phones. I’ve tried everything, it then says to replace the maintenance box.
