I still think that it is a good product. However, I am having difficulty getting it to print out information from my computer. I have checked all the wiring and plugins from this printer to my computer. Could you give me some suggestions as to how I can get it to print from my computer. I had a Brothers printer before and had never had a problem with it.

Won't print anything other than plain 8.5x11.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer to print my wedding invitations on sizes including 3x5 and 5x7 photos and line drawings. I have spent hours trying to get it to print on these sizes and it would only print 8.5x11 and the photo quality was terrible. I tried all of the troubleshooting, different types of papers and settings, etc. and I was never able to print my invitations. I constantly get errors saying the paper trays were empty when they weren't and it ate a lot of specialty paper that I purchased wasting paper and $$. The only thing this printer is good for is printing black and white on 8.5x11 paper. So disappointed, I'll have to find another printer for my invitations!

Regular colored prints have streaks on them unless you print everything in high quality which uses a lot of ink. You get firmware updates almost every week and after the ink is out it forces you to buy Epson ink only. It's not compatible with any other type of ink brands and Epson ink costs more that the printer so it would be cheaper to just buy another printer instead of their ink. Also the display panel is very flimsy and if you're not carful it will fall apart and break off.

Epson printers, including the Expression Premium XP-6100, that use a cartridge ink system are designed to use only genuine Epson-brand ink cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. I can print from any where in my house. Printer stays put in my office and I work in the kitchen I just click print and pick it up in my office later.
