My laptop is brand new and doesn’t have a cd/dvd slot so I had to download the driver software. What a nightmare. There were so many steps to get where you needed to. If you aren’t very computer proficient then this isn’t for you

It came with a CD disk (!) and the controls on the panel are very clunky. It is not a touch screen; you have to scroll right/left/up/down and then push OK. The actual print quality was fine, but I could not get the printer to connect wirelessly at all with either of two computers (2020 and 2019 purchases). I am returning it.

I use the Epson ES-400 for my many scanning needs, but sometimes I need to use a flatbed, and this works for those times, otherwise you might need the next step up, the XP-7100, with a document feeder.
