works really well. only complaint is, printer must be turned on and the paper compartment must be open when a print order is sent. The printer does not do this on it's own.

    The worst printer ever

Absolute worst printer I’ve ever owned in my life. It even beats HP in that category. Always loved Canon but since my last one was getting old and the color correction was unfixable, I decided to try Epson after hearing good things. Never again as this thing has been nothing but trouble. For reference, I’m not a boomer; believe me when I say I can work technology like a normal person. The auto wake function works half the time. But even if it did work, it doesn’t matter because once you print something, after a while it’ll ask you to turn the printer off and on again because “something” is wrong. What’s wrong? Who knows? But it’s been happening ever since I bought it brand new. I never can print anything without having to physically go to the printer and turn it off and on again because the message doesn’t go away otherwise, rendering the printer useless. At this point, it’s like those olden day printers where you had to go connect your laptop to the printer using a USB cable. The worst feature has to be photo printing. This thing does NOT recognize its own photo tray or something. It has to be set EXACTLY in the right spot or the printer will say the cassette is out of place. It’ll also constantly tell you there’s no paper. Your computer settings could be perfect; the tray could be full of paper; you could’ve pushed it in all the way, but it does not matter. I even put wads of tape at the end of the tray so the paper doesn’t slide backwards in case that was the issue, but it doesn’t matter because once you push the tray in, the printer will shake it back and forth for some reason, moving the paper backwards and then it’ll complain that it can’t pull any paper through. I can only assume this printer was designed by an intern then pushed to market quickly and they skipped 100% of the testing phases.

You would think buying a new printer would mean new and improved. Nope! My 7 year old printer had better scanning capabilities. People were complaining on here regarding the paper trays, I should have listened to them. It is difficult to get them out to load paper in. The output tray HAS to be out before it will print. The screen menus are cumbersome and confusing to navigate through. The setup instructions do not give you all the information to set it up. No diagram to where everything is. I am so disappointed and would return it, but because Best Buy won't take it back because of their return time frame, I am stuck with it. I also read that it does not work with Windows 10. I have not tried to set it up on my other computer which is W10. I am still frustrated at the first setup. I bought this printer because it said it would print cardstock, which seldom do anymore, but it puts a line through the image. I would really think twice about buying this one! Cheap is cheap and it is proof in this printer.

It prints very nice and quickly once it gets “warmed” up. And it was easy to get it connected to my WiFi. gave it 2 stars because it doesn’t work well with my Google WiFi system. It is connected and says it is connected but after 24 hours I can’t print to it unless I restart it. I’ve emailed tech support and they say I have to call them. Google this issue. I’m not alone.

This printer is very good for the casual user. For someone printing a lot of pages frequently I would have to recommend something with a larger paper tray.

Good printer. Skow to start printing but then speeds up some. Great for my needs. But if you want real quick this would not be for you. Good quality to printed items. Like how each color of ink can separately be replaced. Took me a bit to figure out how to navigate it.
