    This is the worst printer I have ever used in any setting for any purpose. It's cheaply constructed, constantly needs updates, jams regularly, requires the paper settings to be reset daily, the print head nozzles have to be cleaned and aligned weekly, its noisy, and prints poor quality photos. And the ink is obnoxiously expensive.

    Will not be doing business with Cannon again

    I have a full cartridge of black ink that I cannot use for black and white printing unless I include a color ink cartridge as well. I am throwing the printer away. The best way to handle this sort of problem is to simply not do business with the company anymore. Just writing a review here to warn others.

    I hate this printer!

    Every single time I try to use it it gives me problems. I can't even make a simple B&W 8 1/2 x 11 copy without a big song and dance, whether making a copy off my desktop or just a stand-alone.

    Cheap piece of garbage. Touch screen unusable. Flimsy, horrible, broke immediately. I bought it because I have minimal printing needs. You get what you pay for. Garbage printer. Buy something else.

    Horrible - Don't buy this printer

    I hate it! I don't print very often. Each time I do, I have to re-figure out which tray to open and how far. Horrible design! Going to see if I can return it.

    Not worth the steep price

    I don't know how anyone can give this printer a rating higher than one star. This is not worth more than fifty bucks. You need to replace the ink constantly with barely having printed anything. Why? Probably because this never just prints in 'black and white' instead it continues to print in color. What a waste of money.
