    Worst Printer/Scanner I've Used

The print and scan quality leave a lot to be desired. The scans are cut off by at least a quarter-inch at the top and left margins even though the paper is lined up with the guides on the machine. The software feels outdated and isn't very user-friendly. I spent hours fiddling with the options trying to get my scans to look decent and they still look very bad. Once a scan is completed (into Photoshop), the Epson scan software minimizes automatically, but you have to go close it out completely before you can interact with Photoshop at all. Pointlessly inconvenient. The wireless networking was easy to set up, but the machine itself is extremely slow. The paper trays are difficult to see and manipulate. I am about to throw this thing out the window and get my 8-year-old $50 Canon all-in-one back out just to get a few documents scanned in. I am super disappointed in this purchase and didn't realize it until it was too late to return it. Even at its low price, it is a huge waste of money.

    WORST PRINTER EVER

I bought this in May 2016. Was fine until first time I had to change ink.....from September until today Feb 2017, it has been out of order more often than working. After MANY replacement inks, I got a replacement printer, then MORE replacement inks, each time taking DAYS AND DAYS to receive. It finally started working around NOV - I have done almost ZERO printing and now its out of ink again. I ordered replacement, new, EPSON ink from BEST BUY , installled today and AGAIN it says THERE IS NO INK and WILL NOT LET ME PRINT. Warning: not only is the EPSON A PIECE of junk with ZERO customer service, but BEST BUY, who tried, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REPLACE or work on faulty EPSON products by contract, after 30 days. Looking for the TRASH CAN and trust me, the next one is NOT AN EPSON

printing from computer is great. tried to use scanner but it took FOREVER AND FOREVER. I gave up and used my old scanner. I do not understand the other functions of this machine so have not tried them. Thought this print could print from flash drive.

    Wastes ink

I do not how Epson programmed the printer but the printer slowly uses up all the inks to "keep the inkjet unclogged". I print in only black ink, have my default settings to black ink and now have to replace the color cartridges even though I NEVER use them. After one month of owning the printer I am magically out of color ink and get harassed every time I want to print a document. They also need to upgrade their user interface and catch up with the times. I feel like I am stuck in 90's navigating through their site and printer settings.

Took 1.5 hours to set up. 1 week of use...first time printing from iPad..flawless. Today, failed. Had to download an Epson print app, still won't print. Now says the paper tray is empty, yet it is full. Remover tray, remove paper, add paper, put tray back in, pusk OK. NOTHING! Says "paper tray empty." Turn off, turn on to reboot, still won't print. Prints ok from PC...RETURNING

I spent over an hour trying to get it connected to my wifi and was unsuccessful. Also I couldn't get anything to print, even the test page from the printer itself. Definitely returning it.

Insane trying to get ink cartridges replaced. Using only brand new Epson ink cartridges the printer still will not recognize the 410xl cartridge. I scrapped it and bought a Brother. Best thing I ever did.
