All I can say is this machine is fast compared to my other photo and document scanners. It is pricy but the quality of the scans are excellent. Highly recommended

Works like a charm. Wasn’t sure when I got it, but really like the ease to place documents on my PC, cleaning g up clutter.

Love this photo scanner. Scans very fast and picture quality is great. It only took me a couple of days to scan over 5000 of my family photos. The scanner has already paid for itself because most scanning services charge .48 cents per photo. So for the 5000 photos I scanned it would be over $2,000 dollars much more than this device. The scanner is very easy to work with and the software is pretty good. I highly recommend.

I am not a perfectionist but wanted good quality. This is very easy to setup and use. Looking forward to getting all our pictures scanned.

This scanner is amazing if you want to scan old pictures. I saved pics that I considered lost. Also a good scanner for regular documents.

This device did an excellent job of quickly scanning 5000 photo prints. It outputs an original, an enhanced version, and the backside of the print.

This scanner is great for photos receipts and especially for doing your taxes when compiling all that information at once I highly recommend it.

It too a day to figure out how to set-up this beast, but once that was done it took 3 hours to do what it used to take me about 3 days to do!

Our need to downsize made me realize that IMAGES of family photos and postcards are preferable to the endless collection of albums and shoe boxes. The Epson FF-680W is helping me convert our physical collection to digital content. It is fast, accurate, and records both sides so that notes and messages are not lost. An added benefit is that I can easily provide friends and family with immediate digital copies. No more money spent on duplicate prints and postal charges! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We purchased this to scan our snapshots, and our parents collected photos. So many photos! Anyhow, this device made short work of stacks and stacks. We scanned at the suggested 300 dpi which looks perfect at 8"x10' if we ever want to print out a picture and doesn't take up too much storage space. We love the speed and the way it scans both sides if there is writing on the back. It is a little pricey but worth every penny especially if you have multiple generations of collected photos to archive.

Excellent small portable printer. We needed a travel printer and this works. Set up was very easy.

I used this scanner for older pictures and it does fabulous to restore color on older pictures, especially school pictures. The problem with the scanner is that thicker pictures will not go through the feeder.

I purchased this as my family members had put a lot of photos in boxes and were not sorted. It does a great job scanning the photos quickly.

Does what it's intended for. Fast and efficient scanning of pictures and documents.
