Super fast, but super expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner is so fast! Takes all the waiting out of lesser models or a flat bed. The resolution could be better in all honesty, but for most applications it's just fine. Jury is still out on value for the money. It's expensive. That's the only thing that was a real consideration for a few weeks before finally pulling the trigger.

Excellent scanner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner works great I would buy again. it's a little pricy but well worth it! It scans any size picture. it has two different software options one for photos and one for documents. It also enhances the photo plus it scans the back if there is any writing on the pictures. It makes scanning in pictures so much easier and faster.

#1 photo scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.a bit expensive but so far it works as planned. Just load multiple photos and sit back and watch it work its magic. Don't think there is a comparable product for ease of use and quality. Used to digitize old family photos. Now I need one for photo slides

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was very impressed with the speed of scanning. Was able to down sizes physically photos and share older photos with other family members. My area charges $.5 per photo to scan so this saved quite a bit of money. the quality of the scan was good and impressed with the automatic correction.

Outstanding scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner is expensive, but it's worth every penny. I've had it for about a month and it works great. With the document feeder, I can quickly scan various sizes of photos without separating them. The software automatically crops the photo to the appropriate size. The only issue I've had so far is with photos that are not perfectly flat, such as poloroids, they jam the scanner.

Easy to use and scanned all photos in!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to scan photos from my mothers collection for her celebration of life. It was more than I initially intended to spend, but I can tell you that it scanned every photo in with great detail, and so quickly I’ve now offered to scan photos in for all of my family And then be able to save them and send them on so that everybody has copies. This was a great buy that I hope will offer some solutions for those times when you only have one photo but six different family members that would like a copy.

This little scanner is fast!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner is pretty awesome!! It's very fast at scanning. We tested this thing out using the highest dpi possible, 1200dpi. It scanned a stack of photos in a short amount of time, I would say roughly 5-10 mins. For most people you don't need 1200dpi unless you're planning on doing major print work. 300dpi is all you really need for web based pics. The same pics scanned at 300 dpi.. took secs. The software used for this scanner does have color correction, but it's really basic. I would use a program like Lightroom or Photoshop if you plan on doing any white balance or color correcting.

Love this easy to use scanner!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner was incredibly easy to set up and start using right away. I was surprised to see that the pictures are scanned (front & back!) as well as edited to eliminate red eye and lighten or darken the photograph as needed. I'm very pleased with this purchase and plan to give it a good work out with all my old photos.

||Posted . I am extremely pleased with the speed of scanning and the software. This is a specialized product and only makes financial sense if you have a LOT of photos / documents to scan. Great quality scans and awesome auto correct software.

The Best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson FF-680W has been such a time saver. We’ve been able to scan 1000s of photos in a very short time compared to a tradition scanner. It also can autocorrect the pictures making them brighter and easier to look at. It also has provisions for older or more fragile photos or documents.

So far, so good!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this scanner for my wife who is in the process of scanning a boatload of documents for professional and archival purposes. Her previous scanner worked well but was slow to scan amd process documents. This one is much quicker and creates much cleaner images...it has helped tremendously in speeding up her workflow.

Does the job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a bit pricey but it gets the job done. You have to make sure and remove any possible adhesive from the back of the photo. I recommend wiping down each photo with a lint free cloth before scanning. It will cut down on dust specks on your scanned image. If you have thousands of photos to scan, I recommend. I did about 200 photos already.
