Crazy fast, super quality scanner for tons of pics. Need to follow the direction on how to keep the scanner clean. It tells you when it isn’t but in order to keep scanning without interruption, it is best to make sure you use best practices. It’s all in the start guide. I am very impressed with this scanner.

This scanner was incredibly easy to set up and start using right away. I was surprised to see that the pictures are scanned (front & back!) as well as edited to eliminate red eye and lighten or darken the photograph as needed. I'm very pleased with this purchase and plan to give it a good work out with all my old photos.

I read the reviews for this scanner and took the plunge and hit the buy button. I am extremely pleased with the speed of scanning and the software. This is a specialized product and only makes financial sense if you have a LOT of photos / documents to scan. Great quality scans and awesome auto correct software.

This scanner is pretty awesome!! It's very fast at scanning. We tested this thing out using the highest dpi possible, 1200dpi. It scanned a stack of photos in a short amount of time, I would say roughly 5-10 mins. For most people you don't need 1200dpi unless you're planning on doing major print work. 300dpi is all you really need for web based pics. The same pics scanned at 300 dpi.. took secs. The software used for this scanner does have color correction, but it's really basic. I would use a program like Lightroom or Photoshop if you plan on doing any white balance or color correcting.

Bought this scanner for my wife who is in the process of scanning a boatload of documents for professional and archival purposes. Her previous scanner worked well but was slow to scan amd process documents. This one is much quicker and creates much cleaner images...it has helped tremendously in speeding up her workflow.

The Epson FF-680W has been such a time saver. We’ve been able to scan 1000s of photos in a very short time compared to a tradition scanner. It also can autocorrect the pictures making them brighter and easier to look at. It also has provisions for older or more fragile photos or documents.

I bought this to scan photos from my mothers collection for her celebration of life. It was more than I initially intended to spend, but I can tell you that it scanned every photo in with great detail, and so quickly I’ve now offered to scan photos in for all of my family And then be able to save them and send them on so that everybody has copies. This was a great buy that I hope will offer some solutions for those times when you only have one photo but six different family members that would like a copy.

It's a bit pricey but it gets the job done. You have to make sure and remove any possible adhesive from the back of the photo. I recommend wiping down each photo with a lint free cloth before scanning. It will cut down on dust specks on your scanned image. If you have thousands of photos to scan, I recommend. I did about 200 photos already.

The scanner works better than expected. I scanned 427 photos in no time. I do wish it had a way to adjust the infeed wheels so you could scan old thick polaroids. If you don't put too many pictures in at a time it works great with few jams.

It was a surprise how small and compact this is. It doesn't take up much space on the work counter but does a good job scanning and saving hundreds of photos much more quickly than my flatbed scanner. Custominzing the file names was easy.

It was easier to download the software than I expected. Although it took a little work to decide how to organize the photos as I printed them, the process of printing is easy. I like the option to see both the original and enhanced versions.
