Great photo and document scanner. Works as described. If you are planning to use this for document scanning and accounting you will need to purchase their accounting software for $129.00 to get the most from this item. If I had known this prior I would have gone with an office version rather than fastfoto.

My experience installing and using this scanner.

The scanner works extremely well. The only problem is the service pack that works differently in Apple products where it shows more limitations. If you install the scanning software in a Windows machine, make sure that you download the service pack that is for pictures and to download another service pack for documents. This way, your scanner will work like a pro.

Very happy with this scanner. I've scanned about 2,000 pictures with it and it works great. Very fast and very high quality scans. The only hiccup I'v'e noticed is that it will scan the back of some pictures that don't have anything but manufacturer printing or sometimes it won't scan the backs that have actual handwritten notes on them.

Bought this do a photobook in memory of my dad. It was able to scan and improve some of the old photos to a really nice quality for the book. It was worth the money paid and will be used lots to get our pile of old pictures into photobooks for our kids and grandkids.

This scanner does an excellent job for the average person that wants high quality scans with the least effort. It’s fast and does an overall great job at correcting color as it scans. (You get both the original untouched scan and a color corrected version with each picture scanned.) It’s a little pricey but worth it.

This is an excellent scanner-so far we have scanned photos that were over 70 years old and when the scanner autocorrected the photo it looks like it was taken recently! Very satisfied with this product.

Great for digitizing old photos fast. The fastfoto scanner takes a whole roll's worth of prints and scans them in under a minute, and has some file organization features to make them easy to find later. The scans are all high quality and comparable with digital photos taken on modern cameras.

So far I am very pleased with the quality of the scanner and how efficient it is to scan photos. It takes a little effort to make sure settings are optimum for your needs, such as resolution and storage and backup but set up was straightforward. I recommend having a large disk drive, internal or external ready to go if you have a lot of photos to scan. I was very pleased with the auto enhancment of photos and the option to scan the writing on back of photos in one scan. Ingenious idea! For the price this is a value IF you have a ton of pictures to archive as I do. Hopefully the durability over a few years will prove this to be a fantastic product and worth the investment.

It digitizes front and back. Also provides some basic photo enhancements. Saves our museum volunteers time because they don't have to type in the information from the back of the photos. Only complaint is that I wish the width were wider. We have numerous photos and drawings that are wider than twelve inches.

I have had many scanners over the last several years. The Epson Fastfoto FF-680W is awesome and by far the best I have had! You can put a stack of 35 photos in at one time and they just zip through the scanner in seconds. Very good quality scan! A little pricey but worth it! I love it and would highly recommend it!
