    Great scanner. Sister loves it!

My family bought this scanner for my sister for her 50th birthday. She is a "photo Queen" and loves having the ability to quickly scan her immense collection of photos. This was the perfect gift at the perfect price! Best Buy was wonderful in helping us with purchasing and pick up. The only issue we had was with the protection plan. It was automatically put in my name when I purchased the product and it will be a bit of a chore to switch it to my sister's name (although I have been assured it can be done).

Epson makes great scanners there is no denying that and this one is another great one. The software however leaves a bit to be desired. I am finding I need to use two different Epson scanner softwares depending on if I am scanning photos or documents and receipts. That was a bit disappointing. Scan quality is great however.

Well it does what it’s supposed to do but be prepared for this to take a looooong time if your trying to add your family photos to your computer. The software is great for labeling and categorizing each stack of photos. It’s very expensive though which is my main complaint

If you want to digitize pictures or papers this unit will do the work as fast as you can feed to unit. 300 dpi or 600 dpi - no problem. Copy your scans directly into IPhoto too along with labeling them into categories that let you know where to look for what you want.

Quick! Best option available for photo scanning. Had a hard drive problem and EPSON was great to replace item because I was out of my Best Buy return window. New one has worked great!

It does a great job scanning photos, and it is convenient to have both photo and document scanning capabilities in one piece of equipment The document scanning process is very basic but works. The only problem I've had is in scanning documents on thick paper or that are odd shapes. I've had to use my old flat bed scanner for anything besides a regular sheet of paper.

I love this product! I also have an Epson flatbed scanner that is great, but the ease of use with this scanner is well worth the price I paid. It's expensive, but if you have a lot of photos to scan you'll save a lot of time over a flatbed.

Bought this for our business as well as for our family photos. Only used it so far for the business. Scanning documents then saving them to an external hard drive has eliminated a LOT of paper in the filing cabinets. Satisfied!

I love this scanner! I have many many family photos from the 40's up to recent. Works very well and will read the back of the prints also! I have it set to 600dpi and 4x6 takes 2-3 seconds per picture. The document scans are also very quick!
