Fantastic scanner
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had over 1000 photos and some dated from 50 years ago. I scanned all and they came out great. Capturing the back side with writing for the photos helped with cataloging them.

Awesome purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although, at first, the price was more than I wanted to spend, I have paid for half the cost with the time I’m saved, over using an old, slow scanner I had. Very fast, simple and quality scans.

Great for scanning old photos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, easy to use and produces high quality scans. A useful feature is that it also scans the back when names have written there. This is beneficial when scanning old photos.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Incredibly pleased! Very fast way to scan in a large number of photos. Setup was easy and it has worked flawlessly with me scanning in about 3,000 pictures to this point. It is very compact and doesn't take up much space.

Love/hate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to scan my brothers life worth of photos as he is no longer here with us. I was excited to get all his photos scanned and all digitalized. The quickness of the scanning is very handy. The quality of the scan isn’t amazing but it isn’t horrible until I got like really deep into my pile. Then I started having problems. I tried to run the sheet through when I was supposed to, and I cleaned the parts when I was supposed to, I even wiped all the photos off lightly. Then it would have problems grabbing the photos. I would have to try to restart and clean and do all sorts of things over and over and did a update as well. I tried to call Best Buy to exchange this item but they denied me

Amazing scanner for photos and documents
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compact and formidable. Duplex scans for documents are a great feature. Definitely a great, fast and reliable scanner for people who need to digitize a lot of documents.

Wonderful
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have thousands of family photos. I've been dreading digitizing them. This scanner really helps. It is fast even on the highest resolution. The software can name each scanned image with a month or season, year and description and then it creates a subdirectory by that same name. This fits with the directory names I use with my digital photos. I have a 65" 4K TV and the images look great...not as good as an image taken with a digital camera...but very good. Hint..after scanning photos use the included software to orient the photos. I didn't do that at first and had trouble viewing on the TV even though they looked okay on the computer. I have not yet scanned any paper documents just photo prints. I had no problem setting up the scanner. I've scanned over a thousand images so far.

Would highly recommend despite multiple jams
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would actually give the Epson - FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo Scanning System a 4.5 score because it does a great job with the quality of the scan, but I find that it jams A LOT. I can scan about 3 stacks of pictures in no time, but then I have to clear the jam and then wipe down the glass on the inside. The quality of the scans are wonderful. I've scanned 19 photo albums so far, and I am very happy with the quality of the scanned photos. I like the fact that I can choose the quality of the scan (300 dpi, 600 dpi or 1200 dpi) and I have switched it up depending on the type of photo I am scanning. I have about 20 more photo albums to go, so I hope the "jamming" doesn't continue. Other than than, I am so happy I purchased this scanner. We are saving a ton of room by getting rid of the photo albums. Additionally, I love the fact that I can scan and send them to family members! Despite the jamming, I would highly recommend this photo scanner!!

Little Dynamo
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have scanned over 50,000 photos and 20,000 notes on notebook paper on this little dynamo! I love how it reads both sides of the paper without manually flipping over the photo. I made some mistakes at the beginning because I didn't use the proper settings. I would recommend setting for the best quality and check the scans to make sure the scanner is cleaned. Some photos I will need to use my flatbed scanner, but I am impressed the quantity and ease of use. Highly recommend.

Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good machine. A little weak on the set up and installation. I already own the 500 model and this model is the closest one to it that the store had available. It really would be needed to call the helpline to get it up and running. The trick to bear in mind is that you need to use the cable to set up the machine. Then after that, the wireless feature takes over. Further, you must install both the photo scanner and document scanner software individually. Two separate installations!! When you are finished, you will also have two different icons for each function. Best to just call customer service in Canada. There is one more step in scanning using this machine. An intermediate screen comes up after scanning which prompts you to save the scan to different locations. Probably four plus rating. It works quite well.
