Great After I Figured Out Set-up
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It too a day to figure out how to set-up this beast, but once that was done it took 3 hours to do what it used to take me about 3 days to do!

Great for high volume photo scanning!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our need to downsize made me realize that IMAGES of family photos and postcards are preferable to the endless collection of albums and shoe boxes. The Epson FF-680W is helping me convert our physical collection to digital content. It is fast, accurate, and records both sides so that notes and messages are not lost. An added benefit is that I can easily provide friends and family with immediate digital copies. No more money spent on duplicate prints and postal charges! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Fast & efficient photo scanning
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this to scan our snapshots, and our parents collected photos. So many photos! Anyhow, this device made short work of stacks and stacks. We scanned at the suggested 300 dpi which looks perfect at 8"x10' if we ever want to print out a picture and doesn't take up too much storage space. We love the speed and the way it scans both sides if there is writing on the back. It is a little pricey but worth every penny especially if you have multiple generations of collected photos to archive.

Time saver printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is a bit steep but probably worth it in the long run for it's speed and convenience in scanning and auto color correction. I had a lot of old faded prints and the Epson software did a pretty good job. Sure beats scanning a print on a flat bed scanner.

Pros and cons
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this scanner for older pictures and it does fabulous to restore color on older pictures, especially school pictures. The problem with the scanner is that thicker pictures will not go through the feeder.

Saving money and memories by scannng
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I scanned thousands of pictures and put them on a removable drive so I can distribute them to family. I am moving and did not want to ship the hard copies of the 35 years of memories from my home in the northern USA to New Mexico. Saved quite a few dollars in shipping cost which more than paid for the scanner. Then, my accountant was so impressed, she bought it from me to scan client documents. It was a good deal for both of us.

Bought for document, but great for photos.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a scanner to digitize records and paper in my office so I bought this model for occasional photo use. It worked great in my office (all my paper documents and records are now digital), but I was really impressed how well it scans stacks of photos I actual realize that I have a bunch of photo albums, so I’m going to start situating these.

Improvement to home comfort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Instructions were clear making setup easy. We are now working with the app and learning how the individual room info is best used. Plan to update review after we have had some time to master it’s use.

Scans ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The scanner is just OK. It did damage a few of my old photos that weren’t in the best shape to begin with. If you have perfectly printed photos then it does a great job. Found the auto tune for color wasn’t always the best also and just stayed with the original rather than the “edited” version. All in all I couldn’t justify the price for a mediocre result and returned the product.
