I am very particular about my pix so in order to get them the way i want i needed to use the highest resolution which was a bit slow Scanning other items such as docs and books was very fast and efficient

This is one of the most fabulous devices I have ever purchased. I am getting so much use from it - especially during these COVID stay-at-home days - scanning everything in site! Cannot recommend this enough. The photo options alone make it an obvious alternative to sending the photos to some company and getting them back on a disk - only to then be required to categorize and save them. Cannot recommend this product enough!

The scanner is just OK. It did damage a few of my old photos that weren’t in the best shape to begin with. If you have perfectly printed photos then it does a great job. Found the auto tune for color wasn’t always the best also and just stayed with the original rather than the “edited” version. All in all I couldn’t justify the price for a mediocre result and returned the product.

Do not buy anything from Epson. Their product support is horrible. This scanner actually does a number of things well; if, however you need to edit a document you have scanned, there is a defect in the software and the entire system crashes. It is impossible to contact Epson to tell them: If you call the number on their website (562-276-1300) there are voice prompts that lead you to a "scanner" tech; BUT they immediately tell you that you have called the wrong number and direct you to 562-276-4394. If you call this number, the voice prompts are only relating to camers and other digital products NOT scanners. In other words, Epson has provided defective software and then made it almost impossible to tell them you have a problem. DON'T BUY IT.

A little pricey but worth it if your a stickler for paper organization. Great, great photo scanner (with software) organizer.

Great product - easy to set up and use. Fun to bring old photos back to life.

I had over 6,000 pictures to scan. This scanner was super fast although, not the best quality. But at least I have the memories safe from damage from the elements by having them in digital form. The scanning is the easy part. It's very tedious to have to organize them before you start scanning, which I highly recommend. It is also super time consuming to go through all of the scanned fotos and turn them around and also decide if the enhanced version the scanner gives you is better than the original. It's not always the case that the enhanced is the best version. Also, I am not confident in my technological skills, and I was able to do this all by myself.

Followed instructions and it installed easily. Using it to scan 1000s of personal photos. It working as described.

Bought to scan old photos from albums into digital format. Preformed better than expected even after reading all reviews and deciding to go for it. Definitely is not meant to scan word/letter docs. but pics up writing on back of pics great! Well worth the money spent with all the photos I've been able to scan into digital format knowing they now have backups!

This scanner works well with large amounts of photos and has a very good enhancing ability with old photos.

This product is everything I thought it would be and more. It makes scanning effortless. Saves so much time!

Scans photos (front & back) very quickly. Quality can be a little suspect on some, but software helps with editing photos.

The scanner is fast. The software interface is decent. Makes scanning a lot of photos pretty easy and straightforward. BUT, the quality of the scans and the auto-correct are sub-optimal. Blacks are grey, and grain is added. And other than some broad corrections options, no detailed correction settings are available. For quick mass archiving, it's okay...but if you want quality scans of your photos, this is not the machine

This scanner is so fast and do efficient! I will soon be able to have a lifetime of photos scanned for digital safekeeping!

First used one of these at my work. Liked it so much I went out and bought my own. I love it!

This unit scans really fast and maintains the quality of the photos. I'm so glad we purchased this!

Has some trouble with old thick Polaroid photos, however other than that does a great job. Happy with my purchase.
