Good scanner for an upgrade

I am learning as I go. The Geek Squad deserves a 5 star rating for helping me and they are the only reason I did not return the scanner. I would recommend this scanner for someone who is looking to upgrade.

Great for pictures

Was able to scan all my families pictures with no problems. Scanned over 10,000 over a few weeks. Would stop and clean it every so often but never saw a decline in quality. Love the software allows you to date and assign a title to a group. While it does have a hefty price tag, if you have a gizillion pictures to scan it is most certainly worth the price.

So, So Good

I've scanned several thousand photos and it only takes ~2 seconds per photo on the highest scan settings. When scanning documents it's even faster - no more than a single second for a 600dpi scan of a full 8.5"x11" piece of paper. You really do get what you pay for here.
