This scanner and associated software has worked really well for our family to scan and archive a box load of old family photos. The only snag has been really small (smaller than wallet size) prints which are honestly smaller than the specs listed for the scanner. The included plastic mount allows the small photos to scan.

One of the products that really work like the video shows, it scanned a stack of photos in just seconds, it also took one of my old photos of my son and I and enhanced it so it now looks even better. A little expensive but its a nice machine.

This scanner is what I needed, something that would allow me to scan thousands of old print photos very quickly. My only complaint is that you cannot go directly to a flash drive or other removable media, it has to go directly to a computer first. Overall, I am very satisfied with my new scanner and would recommend it.

This is so awkward, and of course something you only find out about after you purchase this. I would NOT RECOMMEND this scanner. It works nicely, connects easily, and scans quickly. BUT once scanned, the photo that was scanned is NOT really yours. you HAVE NO permission to change it, edit it, or do anything with it. There are multiple forums that discuss this, try and provide ways around it but in the end, when you scan hundreds or thousands of photos having to right-click on each one, change the permissions one by one, then save as a different name at that moment in a different folder is about the MOST ANNOYING thing ever. EPSON IS TRASH because they won't admit it's an issue, won't fix it and until then I would say STAY AWAY FROM EPSON.

We bought this scanner to work along with our larger flatbed Epson for complete digitization of years worth of photos. The unit is remarkably compact, taking up very little shelf space. It was easy to set up and it scans incredibly fast, with great looking files. We will still use the flatbed for larger, single feed scans, but this unit will get most of the project.

I've searched long and hard for the answer to help me copy OLD photos of family treasure that I want to print into books for the Grandkids. The photos, obviously, will never increase in pixels to copy but to have clear exact copies is my goal. This is working for me.

If you have a large collection of photos & are looking to save them digitally, this can save you hundreds of dollars over sending to a like service. Yeah, you spend 500 bucks, but I was quoted over a grand with LegacyBox. So, it made more cent$ :-).
