The Epson FastFoto is wonderful.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scanner self feeds a number of photos and then edits them. Old faded photos are brought back to life. The quality is excellent! I highly recommend the Epson FastFoto 680W scanner.

Scanner Pauses For Long Time At Higher DPI Setting
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great design...but expensive and pauses for long durations when scanning. It runs much slower when scanning at higher dpi settings. The pausing is the worse part about it. Paused on me for approx 3 minutes a few times. Tried it on different computers, both pc and mac....same thing....pausing at higher dpi setting. Also make sure you change settings depending what kind of picture you're scanning (eg. polaroid, standard). Found it to be very sensitive to those settings as well.

Great Scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great scanner for photos and documents. Scans fast and accurate. I rated a 4 for value only because of the price. It’s a little pricey.

Scanning Capabilities
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give it 5 stars but it takes a while in between batches to upload, even the smallest batches. So basically, it can be time consuming when scanning lots of photos. Also Polaroids are too thick to scan so not all pics are able to be scanned.

Great product for business or personal use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine. 'much improved over my older Epson GT2500. VERY FAST SCANS, including two sides of a sheet in one pass. Old photos get instant enhancement.

Great scanner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really great overall! Highly recommend and would suggest using the USB connection rather than wireless because if the wireless is spotty it can interrupt the work.

Great high speed photo scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would have given 5 stars except you can’t create folders in the photos app or transfer a folder hierarchy from the Epson scanning app to photos app. Basically, you have duplicate photos and can’t categorize any photos. Have to do it twice. Once in epson app and then in photos app. Really a pain.

A very good start
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy how fast it is for scanning. Very simple. However, saving is confusing, and there is no editing available other than cropping. The "straightening" doesn't work. I have to open with photoshop to edit, and I still cannot match fonts.

Epson FF-680W
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Greatest fear was losing my old photos. This quickly and easily solved my problem. I love it. Performed as advertised. Gives two versions of each photo. A clearer vivid version and straight original. Has worked wonders on some of my older photos. Can scan 36 pics at a time. Quick and simple.
