We purchased this solely due to the high Lumens, and the use of LCD instead of DLP (didn't want to deal with the rainbow affect). We don't regret our decision at all. The project is insanely bright for dusk to dark viewing. I still wouldn't recommend for full daylight, as the image will be barely visible. When dusk hits through, it is bright and beautiful. A great find, and well worth the money. Only drawbacks are a lack of audio out, and no direct Wifi streaming. The projector has Wifi, but for very very limited applications (sharing a photo... etc.).
