Not bad you get what you pay for.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good projector loved the picture quality but could be better but you get what you pay for. My only down side is it petty loud at times. It is very distracting

Nice, but outdated and loud.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson has very good quality and the products which I’m sure this was a very good product for its time but now with all the newer projectors the quality does not hold up in the machine does get very loud. Now that does not say that the picture is not a good quality but if you’re very particular with contrast and picture quality this will not be the projector for you, but I would say it is a solid projector for someone on budget and does not care a whole lot about specs.

Extremely Impressed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need to put this projector through it's paces more, but my initial impressions of it are outstanding. It's replacing a Sony 1080p projector that, even though it's over 10 years old, still looks pretty incredible to my eyes. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't see an immediate difference or might not like the color reproduction of the Epson. Well, I can put those worries to rest. I haven't even tweaked a single setting yet, but in cinema mode this projector is sharp, bright, and generally looks terrific. I'm feeding content from an Apple TV 4k and wondered what would happen with a movie that's natively in Dolby Vision via iTunes, something that this projector (nor any, if I'm not mistaken) does not support. Well, it simply gets decoded in HDR and I'd have to do a real close A to B comparison with my television set to tell you any difference between the two formats. One thing I love on this projector that I now wish my TV had is that there's an HDR button right on the remote to control the level of that processing quickly and easily. On my television, sometimes I can find the HDR processing a little dark for my tastes. With the Epson remote there's no hunting through settings to adjust this to your pleasing. You just click the button and move the slider to the left or right and can see a noticeable change in the overall brightness level without blowing anything out. I love that! My home theater is also a little odd in that where the screen hangs made it necessary to mount the projector a little off-center. But getting the image where I need it from the Epson is no problem. The lens shift is easy to access and has a good range. While the knobs themselves don't feel like the most solid things in the world, I still prefer this method over the way this is achieved with the Sony (via remote, or buttons on the projector itself). I found it way quicker to get set up and a bit easier to fine tune. I'm really excited to use this more and see what other improvements I can squeeze out of it in the color settings. But again - in eco mode and cinema mode it looks terrific. I put the keystone image up and it was insanely bright - am guessing it takes it out of eco mode for that. At any rate, it made me excited to know that this thing isn't going to look dim anytime soon. I haven't done much research on other projectors at this price point, but we're in less than an OLED TV territory here and the size of image that you get from a projector cannot be undervalued. Being able to have 4K HDR on a massive screen for under $1500 is something that would've been impossible to imagine 10 years ago. I'm excited to put this Epson through the paces!

I don't know the quality but got defective one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On the day one itself, It did not turn ON and was on call for 2 hours to get connect to the tech support team and they said to bring it to store. When i take the item to store, they tried and said they cannot do anything and it is a manufacturing defect and they don't have anymore left in store at that time. I was not able to place another order online as well as it was out of stock and lose interest in buying it again.

Do not buy.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok so I bought this projector thinking it was a better option to the previous one I purchased on Amazon. I should have better researched these 4k projectors not realizing the they drop video signals often. Due to the limited return cycle I was unable to return this unit so I am stuck with a 1500 dollar projector. Do not buy a 4k projector at this time. They are not ready for prime time.
