Great product needs better keystone ...the 3800 Epson projector is better at that function but the picture is better with contrast..

Easy to setup! I now can switch between my 2 HDMI outputs now without changing the resolution on my 4K players.

My projector had HDMI 1 abruptly stop working. This is the only port that works for 4k for some reason due to port 2 not having hdcp2.2, some form drm I think but idk. It is under warranty so I figured no problem, boy was I wrong. Best buy used to let you bring things like this to them and they deal with the manufacturer, that doesn't happen anymore I guess. Oh well, I thought and called epson. The people on the phone can't understand what is going on and went so far as to send me an email quoting my complaint that one port doesn't work at all and the other doesn't support 4k followed by this doesn't indicate that your unit needs repair or replacement. My warranty was and still is active but according to Epson your projector being half dead and unable to use advertised features such as 4k is normal. Almost like they simply don't understand the equipment they are supposed to be troubleshooting. I really don't need someone to try and trouble soot this over the phone as I did that and included it in my first message. Yes I tried new cables, different devices ruled out everything but the projector. I even humoured them by updating the firmware even though I can think of no reason out of date firmware would make it stop working. Lastly I called best buy again to ask them to reach out to Epson on my behalf but was told they couldn't help me. Don't buy this thing, they don't stand behind it. You'll be waiting on hold listening to recordings of Shaq saying your a vip at Epson for days before they answer and make it clear to them your not even a person let alone a vip. I have 2 other projectors that are twice as old and literally a tenth the price. Are they as good? In many ways no, but they still work and if they didn't I wouldn't be mad because they didn't cost me 2k and come from a supposedly reputable brand.

The projector is substantial in size and weight, yet it delivers remarkable clarity and sharpness with accurate color reproduction. However, to fully optimize its performance, a high-quality projector screen is recommended.

This mid level 4K projector is perfect for home cinema experience. I like the different picture modes to accommodate all darker and brighter rooms. Keep in mind that lamps are not cheap and cost almost $400 to replace. I used it so much that I have to replace in 18months. If you want to use a lot, be prepared for lamp cost. Good price for mid level 4K projector.
