Didn’t like it at all, my older model was better to setup, didnt see the quality I was looking for.

I picked one up at the store, got home and turned it on. Didn't show anything on display. Epson said I got a bad one. Returned it, now waiting for a new one to come in. Fingers crossed new one works.

The ratio refuses to go higher than standard whereas my current projector projected full screen.

When I say WOW about the Epson - Home Cinema 4010 4K 3LCD Projector trust me that word really don't do justice. I was beyond floored when I had a chance to experience the projector. Not only did it deliver an astonishing movie image, the steaming process was effortlessly. From the moment we turned it on until we turn it off we experienced nothing but great quality! The 4K experience delivers a remarkable color and pixel resolution that will have everyone talking. It was so much fun watching the Ninja Turtles with the kids. Overall, we love our Epson - Home Cinema 4010 4K 3LCD Projector and I can't wait to have movie night this holiday season.

Took a month researching and debating between this and other models; finally ordered it online, chose regular free shipping but surprisingly it was delivered two days later. I had stopped by Best Buy the night before and grabbed a fiber optic hdmi cable due to distance between my AVI components and projector locations. Setup was a breeze since I've had the Epson 2150 model for a year now. I used the same Cheetah Mount support (65 lbs rating) and was up and running in 30 minutes albeit the big jump in unit size (psssst this thing is humongous compared to the teeny weeny 1080p Epson units). This projector is amazing. The picture quality is stunning. Movies look light years smoother and crisper than the regular 1080p projectors. I tried a few 4K videos on youtube and everyone at home couldn't stop gasping at the beauty of the details. Watched the Aquaman trailer and just wow, I mean wow!!! Finally streamed Jurassic World from VUDU and it was breathtaking. To top it off, I streamed Bleeding Steel staring Jackie Chan from Amazon Prime and OMG the 4K image this projector spits out is just incredible. This one is definitely a keeper. For the $1600 net price tag (after the $200 discount and $100 e-gift card) you just can beat the 120" plus image size it spits out. The folks at Epson really outdid themselves with this one. I was holding out for the rumored 5050ub model but boy the 4010 is a definite winner right now. Feels solidly built as usual like the 2150 model. Don't wait, get this one asap because just like Farmers, the folks at Epson definitely know a thing or two about projectors, Lol!

I have used this projector almost daily for about 4 years. The image quality is still as day one. 4k movies and shows look great, as good or better than a quality movie theater.

Don't fall for the 5 star rating this projector has. When you received a $3K for free, its hard to give lower rating. Believe me, I was in the club upon a time. I have upgraded from Epson 3000 Home Cinema (1080p) projector. I have tried many low budget pixel shifting 4K projectors in the recent past. One or other way all of them were having different issues. Especially for my setup, physical Lens Shift is so convenient. I was so happy to learn about Epson 4010 4K HDR with Lens Shift, I said that's it, the wait is over. Picked up one locally from BBY and installation was a breeze. Real deal breaker comes in play after I tried to enable HDR from Apple TV 4K. Apple TV failed to detect HDR display no matter what you do with different settings. Time to dig into Epson website for support documents. Yes, finally I found what I need to know. Wish I did this research before I got to the store, anyways I still have time to take it back. Well, according to Epson documentation, this projector supports HDR only in ONE format - 4K/24p (24 Hz) 4:2:2. Bummer! So you have to manually select different settings from Apple TV settings, to match with the Epson settings. Result? Yes, Apple TV recognize HDR display, but not really HDR quality picture. Nearly washed out images. So this is a half baked HDR projector. I wouldn't mind if this product wasn't marketed as an HDR projector. Forget about gaming with this projector, you can't watch sports or action movies in HDR format without lag with the 24p rating, Outside HDR technology Epson allows you to fine tune the picture quality, believe me that works better than so called HDR feature with a catch though; if you set Epson 4010 into dynamic mode, and your projector installed overhead, be prepared to have higher noice level enough to distract your movie watching experience. PS: I have purchased this projector from BBY and experienced nearly a week before posting my honest review. :)

Since my hubby is the tech-savvy guy in the family, he was the one that got so excited to get this great Epson – Home Cinema 4010 4K 3LCD Projector. He has always wanted a projector for our home theater that is still under construction. We also love to watch movies when we go camping. So we set it up outside to see what it would be like when we head camping in a few weeks. We bought a great screen at Best Buy too that we can use indoors or outdoors. His first reaction was the resolution- he loves the 4K high resolution. It’s like watching a movie on your 4K TV but bigger and better. The color is amazing as well. He also loved how easy it was to get to the settings- the menus are very user-friendly. In fact, the whole set up was much easier than he expected. One thing we were both surprised at was how BIG the projector was. Good thing we have plenty of room in our camper trailer. Now that we know how big it is, we can plan for the placement of it in our new home cinema. Overall, watching our favorite movies on a giant screen took movie night to a whole new level. We highly recommend the Epson Home Cinema Projector for anyone looking for a great addition to your home movie experience.

Our family loves spending our downtime vegging out in our living room enjoying family time and watching movies. The Epson Home Cinema 4010 available at Best Buy takes our family time to a new level of enjoyment. Our kids also love inviting friends over to play video games! The images are amazing and the colors are stunning!

The projection quality on this is superior. The 4k video is amazing and I can't wait to play with the 3D capability. I can't believe this quality is in my home! So easy to use and set-up.

We've had this projector for over 2 years now and still 100 percent confident it was the best decision.

What an incredible projector! The quality is superb. The noise level of the projector is a non-issue. I had this installed for a few weeks now and am getting to enjoy the home theatre experience I was aiming for.
