This does its job well. I do wish it could be plugged into a power source and send the pictures to my computer, but it works the way it is intended.

Awesome printer for the value. Was able to scan old film photos into high res files.

I use my Epson scanner for photos and text. I did not give 5 stars because I don't how long it will last. This scanner replaced an Epson scanner, which lasted ten years. hoppy

Scanner was easy to setup and easy to use. Only used it once so far and it works great!

I use this for documents. It makes crisp and clean scans in black and white. The color is somewhat faded out, but I'm not using it for color scans. This scanner is very portable. I travel with it and have a lot of legal documents that I have to make copies of. You can scan multiple pages into one file. Also one of the really good things is that it is powered from the computer through the same USB port that transfers the data. In other words, only one external connection for both power and data.

First off showed up in 2 days and perfectly packed. Also the price was dropped and they refunded my money. The scanner does what I need to do. It is slightly noisier and slower than I would prefer but it does a top notch job of scanning for my needs.

Easy to install the software and begin use. Quality of images it produces is first rate. I am using mine to digitize the pages and pages of notes I have taken at seminars and professional development classes over the years. Much easier to find when you can search the directory by a keyword. Someday I may even begin to digitize the hundreds of photos I have stored in boxes in a spare bedroom. It will make those once again accessible for use when family visits.

So far this Epsom scanner has worked well. I've only used it for about 400 scans so far. The software doesn't recognize as many colors as I'd like, but that hasn't bothered me up to now. I believe that the construction calls for treating the lid very carefully, so I've been doing that. All-in-all, I think this was a very good purchase for the price I paid.

I decided to scan 3,500 family photos from photo albums and then use my PC to build separate family directories to present to each family at the Holidays. The scanner performed wonderfully. It allows multiple photos to be scanned into separate files with a single scan. Quite a time saver. The scanner is lightweight and easy to connect and setup. I highly recommend.

Excellent value and easy to use. The images scanned come out with better quality than I expected and the options the machine offers are well beyond what I'd expect for the intro-level scanner. The corners cut seem to be in the plastic used — somewhat light/flimsy. Just treat it with care and it is totally worth it.

This gets the job done for a great price. The only downside is you can tell it is cheap material especially the hinges. But not a big deal. It scans well.

My old scanner did not work with my new PC so I needed an upgrade. There isn't much fancy about his scanner, and I didn't need anything fancy, and it gets the job done. Seems a bit slow, but for the cost, can't complain too much.

This scanner does a great job for a reasonable price. I have scanned over 3000 photos with it so far and the results are very good. The color restoration feature is really nice.

Excellent scanner. I had an older model that ran out of gas and i wanted to upgrade anyway. Epson makes a great product and I couldnt be happier!
