A powerful scanner which is extremely easy to use, Much better than the scanner/printer/fax devices. When I purchased this people asked me why i bought it and now everyone wants to use it. Many options as well to enhance the scan....A great price As well..buy it!

Great scanner for artist looking to upload and edit digitally

This is a great scanner that is simple to set up and simple to use. It does everything a scanner should do.

After being furloughed because of COVID I took on the project of scanner all our boxes of old pictures, documents, newspaper clippings and articles to convert them to digital. The scanner setup couldn't be easier. Just download and install the software from the Epson sight and plug the scanner into a USB port. Thats it as it is powered by the USB port. I worked this scanner hard scanning several thousand items. For large newspaper items you can use the software to scan each section and it will seamlessly stich them together. The only issue I really had was after a 120 or so scans in a row I would have to let it rest a bit before scanning more as it would stop scanning. I do not think it is built for the load I was putting on it. You can scan documents and save as a PDF. I scanned my entire High School Yearbook into a single PDF. I am very satisfied with its performance and would recommend it to anyone. The giving it 5 stars even though it needed to cool down after so many scans as that probably isn't the fault of the scanner. Hope you found this review helpful.

Recently purchased a new Dell PC with Windows 11 so finally, goodbye to my old (& I mean old) Canon scanner because Windows 11 simply would not support it and Canon never did an update (built-in obsolescence ). So, I purchased this new Epson scanner. It works GREAT but here is the rub. With Windows 11, at first, it appeared it simply would not work and I was going to return it the BB. But, I decided to call Epson Support and here is the fix or work-around. They are having some combability problems with Win11 so what you have to do is to boot up your Win11 PC, plug in this Epson Scanner, then (drum roll) reboot your PC. Yes, this is not a typo. Reboot you PC and then, and only then, does the PC and the Epson software you have to download btw, recognize the scanner. The service people said they will soon have a permanent fix which will enable Win11 to immediately recognize the scanner and software without the reboot but until then, you must do the reboot. I, personally, can live with that and I love this scanner. You will too. Oh, if you have any other operating system other than Win11, you should not have to do the workaround. Did I mention that I LOVE this scanner?

I bought one of these many years ago. My main use is scanning into PDF format paper data (like pay stubs and mutual fund reports) that made it easy to do an all electronic transfer of data to loan companies when purchasing a new house. This is a very rugged unit, but it met its match with bad packers/movers who packed it vertically and then placed heavy items on the top edge. The scanner still worked, but the scanning track inside became bent limiting the scan to about 4 inches. I liked it enough to get an exact model replacement. And have already used it for copying car registrations and preparing paper for electronic transmission to medical insurance. Would I buy another it again? I did buy it again! And Best Buy, as always, had a great price for the scanner and it was available immediately.

This is an easy to use low volume scanner. Perfect for the once in a while need. Plug in and start scanning.

Ordered for store pick up. It was simple to setup and use! The price was reasonable. I would recommend this scanner.

This scanner is everything I need for use at home.

It does the job. Quality is ok. Speed is slow compared to more expensive models. It is kinda loud. I purchased it because it is cheap and easy to carry into a library, but again it makes lots of noise especially at higher resolutions.
