Epson flatbed scanner

I haven't scanned any photos yet, but the documents I have scanned are clear and easy to read. It was an excellent purchase for the price point, and its sleek design makes it look sharp in my home office. I would highly recommend this Epson flatbed scanner.

So far, it's working well

It's fairly compact and lightweight, and fits on my bookshelf. So far, I've only used it to scan documents that I scan to .pdf format, and it has worked well for that. No complaints as of yet.

No fuss, some what easy to install.

I had a issue with the software installation. The issue was with the Pop up blocker on my browser not showing me a box requiring a response. A reboot and reinstall when fine, Good quality construction. I have not tried any demanding color scans but I have done a bunch of B&W 600Dpi scans with excellent results.

It works well on my mac laptop. It scans multiple photos at once. I wish the software interface was a little more updated but thats just a personal preference. I use it to scan the hundreds of family photos that I have.

It captured every hue and highlight - even on photos that were over 50 years old. The only downside is that it is a flatbed, so large projects can be very time consuming with this scanner.

If you only download 'bundle' for Mac which says "all you need" it gives an error code and does not work. You must download ALL software to get it to work. Then it's fantastic! Light, portable, only need USB, lid detaches and reattaches easily. Very simple and adequate!
